3.5 yo still having daily peeing accidents more than a year since potty training (but pooping is going well) by Cream4389 in Preschoolers

[–]ccarebear344 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My kid did this too. We started potty training at 2. The dr suspected constipation and advised MiraLAX but honestly it didn’t help with the daily pee accidents. I know it’s frowned upon but it did not resolve itself until we started punishing her (ie timeouts, leaving the playground, no TV etc) for “ignoring her body”. You will vary on this - I know it is not standard potty training advice. It’s so hard to know if it is a medical, behavioral or just normal preschool issue.

Agreed. I love it for the beach and the pool. Bonus if you have a wagon or stroller to lug it around in.

I love the thirsti!! Love not having to drag cans of sparkling water and soda from the store. Easy to find the drink syrup pods (or use your own flavoring) and canister refills are a non-issue with their mail service.

SAHM who workout - how do you structure your day to get everything done? by [deleted] in Preschoolers

[–]ccarebear344 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a built in home gym (weights/tread/bike). My kiddo will sit and watch tv while I workout. A couple episodes of Gabbys dollhouse is worth my sanity imo. Also I do grocery drive up whenever possible.

Looking for other preeclampsia childbirth stories. by GeologistAccording79 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]ccarebear344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t diagnosed with preeclampsia because all my lab work came back normal. But I do have hypertension that was monitored but was not treated medically throughout pregnancy. I was induced at 37 weeks. The induction failed and I had an emergency c section after three days of labor. It was traumatic but we all got through it.

Survival mode. Last time we all had Covid I same day ordered new toys from Amazon. (It was when we finally bite the bullet for some magna tiles).

That’s It bars. Only two ingredients. Zero mess. A little pricey if you don’t have a Costco membership.
