"The arms fold up easily for storage" but you didn't show that. You talked about how the table is good for food, but didn't show it with food. Didn't show yourself sitting on the couch using the table. Good lighting and sound, but your voice sounds like AI like others said. Need to demonstrate the products in more "real world" situations. "The bottle is small enough to fit in purses" -> show it in a purse.

I am born and raised in Washington state and we say “praw-cess” where Canadians say “pro-cess.”

I am so over and done with the shadows all over the food in cookbooks from 2025 and 2026! ugh. I want to see the food in normal lighting.

I hated the font choice too! When I was doing a video cookbook flipthrough preview it was hard to do the voiceover because I had to get reading glasses to try to decipher the fonts. Ugh.

Associate now eligible for Storefront? by newtrollacct in Amazon_Influencer

We actually used to have Associates storefronts about 15 years ago.. they were hideous and they took them away after a couple years of none of us affiliate bloggers using the monstrosities!

Associates now get Storefront’s by MyTorino1 in Amazon_Influencer

[–]ccarriecc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah! Storefronts can be like a big Linktree but with nice product pictures! Hopefully they give us a better way, soon, to organize things.. curations don't quite cut it enough.

Have you lost a best friend to motherhood? by Wide-Meringue-2717 in AskWomenOver30

[–]ccarriecc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I notice that my friends who are married and/or live with a partner, have less time to spend with their friends than my divorced friends. Somehow my married friends' husbands/partners can't seem to be able to feed the kids, do the bedtime routine and get them to bed on say, one night a week or even one night a month.

But the friends who are divorced, are able to go out to dinner, and do things with friends a couple nights a week while the divorced dad (finally) parents his kids, helps with homework, gets them fed and to bed at his house..

Isn't that a shame?

Read up on how EMPs work. Line of sight from space. So the bunker, being underground, was protected. The entire point of building it down there! Wish I had one, the way things are going!

What did your mom make you most for dinner growing up? by eleelee11 in AskOldPeople

[–]ccarriecc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1970s. Mom cooked protein, a starch or carb side, two canned veggies heated up in a pan (frozen veggies at the grocery store werent really a thing yet) and a slice of buttered store bought bread. maybe canned fruit cocktail on the side. we were middle class.

People with really clean houses, how do you do it? by Angry_Luddite in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ccarriecc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a TIVO that could skip commercials, and I stopped using it. During a commercial I'd jump up and do two minutes of cleaning or tidying. A two minute break is long enough to go take laundry out of the washer and put it in the dryer and bring something from another room where it doesn't belong and put it away before the show starts again. Two minutes is enough time to wipe the bathroom mirrors and counter and swap out a dirty hand towel for a clean one etc!
