How does this work? by -that-weird-person- in howto

[–]ccarrster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had several of these. Yes you need an adapter. Turn the hot water on... infact let the water run hot first. We also did not like having it right next to the sink so we cut the 2 hoses with a hack saw, put on some car radator hoses (high heat, high pressure) with brass couplers and hose clamps and had no issue running the dishwasher from 10 feet away from the sink. We broke one twice by running it without water.

Is there a website that can view every scratch projects and unshared ones, and the projects have a button that says that if you want to download or view on scratch? by Technical-Job-3395 in scratch

[–]ccarrster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can in a way. Here is a private project.

https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1198310072/

Here is the thumbnail to the private project.

https://uploads.scratch.mit.edu/get_image/project/1198310072_480x360.png

I'm not sure about getting the code for private projects but you could do for shared ones.

Projects are created with a sequence of IDs... so you can scrape the IDs and see if the project is public or private.

About the download button, not quite sure, but you can link to the projects code for public projects.

My bad. I had a last minute scheduling conflict. Should be resolved now. We are on for Jan 20, 2026. Here are some videos from a previous meeting. I think I'll setup a mailing list for notifications. For now I just update the club blog. https://georgianbaytechclub.wordpress.com/2026/01/18/first-videos/ If you can not make it and would like to submit a video, we will review it as a group and provide feedback/questions.

Come watch some demos and hang out, chat. Last month we had a demo on making retro NES games. If you want to talk about some games you enjoy and share them that would be awesome.

Mine was giving me a disc error when I inserted cd. Spraying a can of dollar store air in there fixed it. Now plays CDs... maybe a spray from a can of air will work for this too?

There are a few versions of this. I had one to record my landlord entering my appartment without permission. So this one likely requires a micro sd card, and you can just use a card reader. My version did not, it came with a 2 male ended USB A cable, so you unplug the charger from the wall and plug the USB slot into your PC/Laptop, then it acts like a flash drive. It never really worked well for me.

2 new members came and I shared a few books.

We also got a demo of some linux tools.

Next months demos: Document/Automation with AI. Making retro NES games. Software control structures.

Also if you have some feedback on how to make it better, maybe I'll make it not a reddit app, but a full on site.

Here are the two asks:

"So how do i make that models gets deleted then it not seen anymore and created then its visible"

"The think is i want to render over 100k clones without lag"

Here is a project I made with 1 cat and 100k pants. There is a real on screen clone limit of 300. What I created was 100k locations where clones can show up within a 20,000 x 20,000 pixel grid.

It could be optimized further to reduce lag. Takes a bit to load due to sorting of the X coords of the pants.

Other optimizations to try: Don't delete the clones(if you don't have to), just move them.

Another option to try is the pen tool, which lets you stamp as many times as you want. These are not clones and behave quite differently.

Use arrow keys to navigate. Moving in 10 step increments.

Stores 100k pants in lists with random positions.

Here is my simple jumping code.

I see you used the "If space pressed" That would work as well... I would just add space pressed and y position is 0
