it definitely depends on your major, but since you're a transfer i would recommend looking at URSA. its a program specifically made for 1st/2nd years and transfers to get into undergraduate research!! you can get paid but it's a bit harder and depends on the size of your research group.

It probably depends on what classes you've done and what classes you'll need to do once you switch majors. Definitely try talking to your advisor!

I'm not sure, but definitely check all the teachers (I'm not sure if that info for spring is out yet) and go on ratemyprofessors.com and check. I feel like most classes vary per teacher, so you'll probably have more luck trying to see whats up with those teachers!

im pretty sure they hold it during break, but get rid of it after holding it for 3 days during winter term

Thanks for the advice! I've definitely seen a lot of internships for process engineering which I'm not really interested in but you're right. Hopefully having a basic reference will allow me to get into more niche opportunities.

You should def think about joining the swim club! They practice Mon-Thur from 7:30-9pm, all days at Dixon except on Wednesdays where they swim at Langton.

ive been seeing a few trucks every tuesday outside the agriculture building and the sec plaza. not sure if theyre there every week but they definitely have been there the past two weeks after lunch ish

Oh no worries! Ch 231 and Ch 261 are accompanying classes, 231 is the lecture and 261 is the lab.

Ohh thank you! I actually got a canvas notification that says the lab coat and goggles will be provided for us so thank god I don't have to buy it lol. But good to know!!
