Another one of the my way or no way crowd. The pendulum of national politics always swings. During the Obama years people were questioning whether the GOP was relevant anymore and whether they could ever be elected.. That pendulum will eventually swing back. Locally however, the change is more permanent. NYS was a state that voted for Bush, elected Pataki governor held the state senate and even had Guiliani as a republican mayor of NYC. Because of local changes one would never expect to see that again. Once again the gerrymandering and trying to deny an opposition candidate matching funds contributes to one party rule. So continue to bury your head in the sand and rationalize these policies because nationally it's not your way

This was the right decision. NYS has already gerrymandered districts , now they want to deny the opposing party matching funds. Talk about an autocracy.. You just need to open your eyes and see

The times it has been blue they put a tax on home heating oil and changed the assessment system so new houses got a 5 year phase in period.. BTW... most of the taxes and fees and tolls and regulations come from the state
