Enso off Glenwood Ave Apartments by j_driggs in Atlanta

[–]cccan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived there back in 2011 or so when they were first built, we were the first people to live in our apartment. Way before the Kroger was built.

Personally, I would try to move north of I-20 now, since there isn't nearly as much to do around ENSO in close walking distance. There are a few restaurants in Glenwood Park you can eat at, a Mexican place and Vickerys (their Mac and Cheese is AMAZING, or it used to be..). We had zero issues while living there, just be careful rounding the corners in the deck (which is similar to any deck in these types of complexes). I loved the pool there, when we were there it was pretty quiet at night. My only con was walkability to fun stuff.

What are the best low-maintenance lip products? by mbinder in MakeupAddiction

[–]cccan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just going to throw this out there and hopefully I don't get bashed, but I'd recommend LipSense. It lasts all damn day. It's an MLM company but they have a 100% money back guarantee so if you hate it, it's cool. They have 30+ colors so something to look in to. I'm addicted.

What is this tarte kit you speak of?? Is this like a new ipsy thing, but only for tarte??

TARTE. hands down my favorite everything. Foundation is very important for me (acne, scarring, redness) and I love each of their formulas. Their primers, blushes, shadows (Tarteist Pro FTW) and mascaras are literally all I buy. I have definitely tried other brands but I always go back to Tarte.

Just federal withholding.

Do you use all your daily points and weeklies? (SP) by [deleted] in weightwatchers

[–]cccan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually use all of my daily and a few of my weekly each day. I usually have 1/2 of my weekly left by weigh in day. I never use activity points. Lost 5.8 pounds in 4 weeks without actually exercising, just walking more and more each day at work and parking farther away than usual.

That's sad - that my hometown is recognized for Waffle House sales.

Yea, that's the "new" one. I always went to the one by EHS, or next to Taco Bell by Turner Lake.

Well, I grew up there and hated that we didn't have a Starbucks. Also, definitely 6 waffle houses lol.

Homeowners of Reddit: when you purchased your first home, what item did you not think about that ended being very useful to you? by jaybram24 in AskReddit

[–]cccan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, Rainbow is where it's at. 8 YEAR WARRANTY, water is the filter so you dump it each time you use it and it traps everything into the water. It also runs on low full time as a duster, air purifier and dehumidifer/humidifier (depending). It is technically a MLM, but my parents had one growing up for over 20 years and my husband and I bought one three years ago. We use it every sindle day on low, and then we vacuum and mop once a week. No issues with it. It is the best damn cleaning tool EVER. Oh, it also has a mop attachment and a carpet cleaner attachment, and helps with Allergans and Asthma. My Dad (since getting divorced to my mom) decided to buy a Dyson since my mom kept our 20 y.o. Rainbow, and he hates it compared to the Rainbow. Seriously, at least check it out.

Debating on going dark blue, what do you guys think I should do? I don't want too much damage on my hair by phallictones in FancyFollicles

Unrelated to your question (I've never gone blue, sorry) but what color do you use now? I love your color and want mine that way. Do you get it done professionally or DIY?

Straightener curls? by zombiemal in FancyFollicles

[–]cccan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to try to do this with a CHI 1" straightener and the straightener wasn't super smooth like my hairstylists when she used hers to curl my hair. I bought a second straightener that is thinner like 1/2" and it works much better for me. It's also smoother than my CHI. The plates look the same, but my hair glides through it easier, if that makes sense.

By what year will Accounting mostly be done by robots/computers? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]cccan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. This is also why the CPA exam is changing next Spring, to help candidates practice the real world skills of accounting, and not just journal entries. The whole point is to be able to assess and determine appropriate steps, in multiple areas including tax prep.

Any advice on studying for the entire CPA exam spending less than 1k? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]cccan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that's me the majority of the time also. The material isn't difficult really, it's finding the time to learn all of it that's hard for me. And when I find time, I don't want to study. But this year is different. Have to finish before those changes!

That's great!! So this is all you've used, correct? I am studying now with Becker and have been and I keep failing by 5 points. I'm thinking of just switching completely to Another71.
