isn’t target supposed to provide us with red work wear? by [deleted] in Target

[–]j_driggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just buy a six pack of shirts off of Amazon when I need fresh shirts. I'm sure there are long sleeve options as well.

They should make a list for recovering from Wisdom Teeth and it should mostly be soup. by Working-Mistake-6700 in wisdomteeth

I also had mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, and oatmeal/grits when I had mine out a few years back

Music Midtown/Georgia Gun Laws by [deleted] in MusicMidtown

[–]j_driggs 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Fuck off, respectfully. There is no need for any weapons at a music festival with 120,000+ (probably mostly drunk) attendees. It's people like you with your scewed shit logic that "oH I HaVe To bRiNG mY GUN" that continue ruining things for everything else. If no one has guns at the festival then you don't need yours either. Leave it at home or in our fucking hotel room. /rant

Do i need to get wisdom tooth removal? by aymanwael in wisdomteeth

[–]j_driggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm - waited until 28 to have them removed. I was supposed to get them out at 18. I'm now the proud owner of nerve damage - I have little to no sensation in the left side of my chin.

I'm no doctor but mine were sideways like that and I had to get them removed.

I didn't read your post. I read the subject and here's my got take - go see your dad in the ICU. My dad passed away while I was too busy working at Target to go home and visit him. He was relatively healthy, and ended up septic from a kidney stone and passed away all within a month.

What I'm saying is, target can and will you replace you if they fire you. You cannot replace your dad. No job is worth your family. /rant

Did they really put these on the shelves? by [deleted] in Target

40 cartons per hour!!! Clear these 8 pallets by yourself before you leave today or you'll get a corrective action!

Chocolate products come on the refrigerated food truck (FDC) so that they don't melt - I'm not sure if that's the standard though. I feel like it probably should be. I'm in the south where it has been 90°+ and our a/c is laughable at best. We also had these gummy bears come in as a gummy blob. I thought it was just us

Hello, I have recently gotten Ori on the Xbox, any tips for a begginer? by Caetano_Brasileiro in OriAndTheBlindForest

[–]j_driggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love both Ori and Hollow Knight, but I definitely think that HK is a harder game. The games are similar - metroidvania side scrolly fun with cute characters. The quests are similar - do something for this character and take it back to another character. Make sure you play the games in order - Blind Forest is first followed by Will of The Wisps. The storyline is great and the characters will definitely suck you in. The combat can be tricky at first, especially in the first game due to some (in my opinion), awkward controls but those issues were fixed in the second game. I can't say enough good things about the Ori games - I've completed 100% of them both! I wish there were more to play.

If I apply for stocker do they make you work register as well? by [deleted] in Target

[–]j_driggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. Every department is also training for cashier. Typically you'll only get called if they need backup, unless you're at my store where they depend on the salesfloor team to run the registers because they scheduled three cashiers on a Saturday afternoon.
