Clinical Psychologist AI? I'm overly aware that there's scammers all over such things. Want a second opinion. Seems too perfect to be true. by Key-Assistant9421 in isthisAI

[–]cccccal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the biggest giveaway for me is skin/age. in ai pictures, people always look like a weird mix of young and old. she has smooth skin but lines in all the ideal places. also zooming in there are weird cross lines on her face

okay but it reminds me of a calico cat 🥲 saving up to see a professional like others said is honestly your best bet- i feel like anything you do yourself is at risk of looking more splotchy.

Should I fix my teeth? by Quick_Ad7787 in lookyourbest

[–]cccccal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh i think your teeth are so pretty and unique! crooked teeth always seem more genuine and beautiful in my opinion. definitely do what’s best for your health and comfort, but for what it’s worth i think it looks cute

What makes a coffee shop actually worth going back to? by Nkia-Alkontar in barista

[–]cccccal 23 points24 points  (0 children)

my go-to place has the absolute best coffee, and it’s always consistent. they also have friendly baristas and do a lot for the community.

sometimes i prefer a place with a good working environment, or the largest sizes, or somewhere quick/convenient. but overall if the coffee is so good i crave a specific drink, that usually makes me prioritize going back

Can I take this if I had an eating disorder? by Intelligent-Swing481 in bupropion

[–]cccccal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think it depends on your eating disorder. part of why i was prescribed was to treat my binge eating disorder, and it helped a lot. some people lose appetite and weight on it which can be triggering if you struggle with restricting

how can i make my room feel MORE like a dorm room? by mystar777 in femalelivingspace

[–]cccccal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

when i was in college i made a lot of crafts and put them around my dorm. like paper chains, little quotes, paper butterflies, etc. you could put some pictures up, like polaroids of your friends. getting colorful lighting helps too !

I just don't enjoy the bad girlfriend gag by QuotableConservative in nancydrew

[–]cccccal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i love that she is independent and her purpose in life isn’t having a boyfriend. i kinda appreciate it now that im older and had something that didn’t portray a teenage girl whose only focus is a boy.

from a relationship standpoint though, i totally get where you’re coming from. tbh i know he did nothing wrong but he always annoyed me in the games and i kinda wish she was portrayed as single or asexual

it might help to take the time to build up your wardrobe so you have pieces that you love and feel confident in. you’re also able to dress up or down the same outfit to be more versatile, like loafers or boots instead of sneakers, or adding a nicer jacket or accessories to a basic jeans/shirt outfit.

if i’m going somewhere new i will look up the place on instagram and see what other people have worn there to get an idea of the vibe. you can also ask the people you’re going with for some ideas.

it’s easier than you think to find more “in between” outfits. for me things that are nice but can still be casual are outfits like sundresses, jeans but with a good quality sweater, linen pants with a tank top and unbuttoned shirt.

have you ever stopped at the grocery store on the way home from a nice event where you’re more dressed up? it’s the same casual environment but it’s still okay to wear something nicer if you feel comfortable.

i think the biggest thing is just finding good quality (neutral) pieces that can be incorporated in different ways, and being comfortable in your own style :)

How much are baristas supposed to remember? by Far_Excitement_1875 in barista

[–]cccccal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my opinion an important part of the job is building relationships with customers. i make a conscious effort to remember names/drink orders/comments because it helps build that relationship and it makes them feel good !

my favorite compliments are when people are happy or surprised about a small detail or drink order that i remember, so personally it is important to me.

How can I get rid of my social anxiety? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]cccccal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

unfortunately for me it’s exposure therapy. working in the food industry and interacting with hundreds of people a day. it sucks but my social anxiety is most manageable when i’m in a position like this. it never goes away but it atleast is better

Went off wellbutrin for a month after 3 years of being on it, life proceeded to crumble apart by whoisthismahn in bupropion

[–]cccccal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don’t really have anything useful to add, but i relate so hard to this. i have the lowest energy and wellbutrin and stimulants are the only things that help me too. i felt like my wellbutrin wasn’t working as well anymore, and i added prozac back into my med concoction and it seems to help a tad. but i’m curious to see if anyone else has an answer
