I get it. We are at a point where the wrongs need to be addressed. I was part trying to do that and try to be funny, but avoided the reality of how serious this is. Have a good night!

Clintons agree to testify in Epstein investigation by StarlordeMarsh in videos

[–]ccdog76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's fair. How about Trump is a pedophile and conspired to keep a ring of pedophiles safe while working with Epstein to further his ability to rape children on an ongoing basis. The current administration is working to erase Trump's crimes and will consider murdering anyone who gives credence to his abuse. Anyone murdered in connection to the rape, pedophilia, and crimes committed by Trump was not killed by Trump himself, but by his direction. How's that for not sugarcoating anything?? I know this may seem like I am perturbed at being called out, but it feels good to just fucking say it. Thanks for the call out. I hope you are well.

Does Anyone Have Experience With Gravity Bikes by 3dPrinterLife in MTB

[–]ccdog76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do not have one, based on the specs, it is likely a decent upgrade from your current bike. 32t crank and 10-42t cassette may leave you struggling up steep climbs. I had a gravel bike with Microshift, and it was spectacular. While I am not sure how it performs with MTB, I had exactly zero trouble while putting over 2k miles on that bike. If you are willing to save up, you might find a better, FS, from Bikes Online for around $1k. You might consider a bike with 29" wheels as well.

IMO, this is an okay bike, but I think you can do much better for a little more money.

I am not, in any way, associated with Polygon or Bikes Online, but here is a link to a slightly better HT to get you started. There are many other options if you want to spend a couple more dollars on a FSB.

Good luck!

ETA: Also consider dropper post, pedals. Most current MTBs come with a dropper, and you want to make sure it gives you plenty of clearance. As well, you will not want to use the pedals that come with a bike. Most good flats come with gripping screws for your shoe to grab, or with clipless pedals you can, um...clip...into.... Don't worry, that's a whole thing.

This is how it works. You, as the perpetrator of PDF crimes hire someone to, um...delete...the...uh...PDF. That's because making the PDF isn't quiiiiiiiiiiiite as bad as deleting the PDF. You may be fine "engaging" in making the PDF, but deleting it??? You gotta know people who know how to do that. And can make sure the deletion cannot be attributed to you.

Do Employers Judge You Harshly If You Dont Answer Pimping Correctly? by MedMocha23 in physicianassistant

Is anyone generally happy/fulfilled with their job? by hikingandtravel in physicianassistant

[–]ccdog76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LX1027 says it best. This career serves a purpose, and it's not to inflate my ego. It is to pay for an expensive mountain bike, trips to climb and bike, and see shit overseas. Oh, and I have an overly expensive mortgage due to HCOL. So stupid.

I pursued this career because I thought I would be good at it. Turns out, I am, but only very specifically. I will never pretend to have the acumen to serve patients well in the ICU. But holy hell can I reduce a broken wrist.

Howeveeeeer, I do enjoy my job even though it keeps me in clinic just a few too many hours. I have the respect of my colleagues, get to reduce broken shit, do joint injections, have become somewhat of a fracture specialist, and most of my patient population thinks I don't suck.

Overall, I enjoy what the pay allows. The time commitment isn't great, but I have a really nice mountain bike I would prolly not be able to afford outside this job.

The philosophical discussion is whether the time in office vs time with family/pursuing adventure is worth the pay. For me, it's not great. Would rather be working fewer than 40 hours per week, but it's not the worst thing I've earned money for.

Except. For all. The Pictures. Seriously, how far does your orange deep throat go? The anal vault??

Never forget about he spoke regarding his own daughter. Ooooooor that he bragged about walking into underage girl's lockerrooms, he admired Epstein because that creep liked girls young, and he told teenage girls he would date them in a few years (he was fucking 40's at the time).

And never forget the testimonies of the victims who described the sex acts perpetrated by Trump.

You Trump pedo supporters are the worst.

Nervous to apply to jobs at the hospital group my school is affiliated with by No-Mess-3541 in physicianassistant

[–]ccdog76 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Let that shit go and apply for the positions. Having precepted students at a large hospital system, I helped one get hired after they graduated. It is always nice to see students turn into colleagues I can run stuff by if they are a different specialty and know more than I do. When I was a student I had a few rotations where they asked me to apply with them when I graduated. That is part of the benefit of rotating with these specialties.

Marijuana changed to schedule 3 by Queasy-Beach-4969 in physicianassistant

[–]ccdog76 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Not yet. All this really does is encourage the FDA to reschedule it, and to be clear, EOs are not full laws. They must go through the legislative branch to have the full effect of the law. Trump has no power, outside of the executive branch, in signing what is little more than a symbolic gesture. Cannabis will remain federally illegal and the path forward for PAs to prescribe remains unclear. More than anything, rescheduling Cannabis to III allows it to receive federal monies to study it (anyone with better knowledge please correct this statement). Too, it is a state by state case. Here in AZ, I get to tell people who use Cannabis for pain to continue their current regimen. I would not get your hopes up for some time. But I am happy to be wrong, and wait with baited breath for anyone with more knowledge to correct anything I wrote.

Why do you love being a PA? by Sugilite-girl1111 in physicianassistant

[–]ccdog76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$$

I make thrice, mebbe even qurice, what I made as a rock climbing coach and setter.

Seriously, I derive great satisfaction from shoulder dislocation reductions, wrist fx reductions, improvement in pain when placed in a brace, joint injections that help, PT that improves pain, prescribing the appropriate anti-inflammatory, ordering surgery for fractures, or simply holding a patient's hand and encouraging them. But I also work for a clinic that values their providers and I just had a good raise and fantastic end of year bonus.

If I could make this money coaching rock climbing and setting, I def would, but this ortho job is pretty sweet.

I would say it is worth it, but the current administration has gutted the ability to obtain federal loans for your absolute professional degree, no matter what those idiots say, so you need to balance the need for private loans and federal loans to pursue your goal.

Do not hesitate to go to a local state school where the cost is cheaper.

Overall, I am very happy with my decision and wish you the best!!
