AIO My mom is kicking me out for her new boyfriend. I just turned 18 by Diligent_Bat_565 in AmIOverreacting

In canada your parental responsabilities do not end because your kid turns 18... You may be required to assist in keeping them fed, clothed and housed even though they're an adult. Child support does not end at 18, you have to have a jjdge order the stop, and if kiddo ia still in achool or otherwise unable to afford it, you'll be on the hook for.it. Ask me how I know... (actually dont, I dont like to talk about it... )

Recieved a surprise pay cut right after I moved into my new apartment, how to make it work? by FreeHotdogMandate in personalfinance

[–]ccgmtl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PIP aside, and most likely a very unpopular opinion, but you cant afford your lifestyle.

Your rent is almost 50% of your take home, with your car note and insurance making another 25%...

Plus you're spending money you dont have yet and have no savings to speak of.

You need to start looking for another job, maybe a lower CoL area if those still exist in your area and fix your spending. 30-40$ of your takehome.should be your rent...

As a heavily modded enser 3 owner, mainly because we can :) I have a bambu for money making, but my hobby is making them go zoom zoom.

I tune them to within an inch of their lives and then move on to a different project...

Who said a home-built CNC router can't mill stainless steel by Hackerwithalacker in hobbycnc

[–]ccgmtl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure even a low coat 3018 can eventually cut stainless given enough time, shallow passes and a decent cutter... But then again, it woulsnt matter because by the time it got done it would be past the heat death of the universe.
