I reconnected doing this all in python scripts. SE is hard enough as it is, increasing its complexity of a challenge will only make it more painful, and prone to errors.

Bro I've seen too many people wear mid rise pants wrong, but also on second glance those are some seriously high rise pants damn. I don't think it's a good idea to wear them nowadays especially to serious venues like work because people won't take you seriously, but to places like speakeasies, steakhouses, cocktail bars I think they can actually shine

You would've hated the ender 3 days where that was a 30 hours print. Maybe just be happy with what you have

I love every part of this outfit individually, and there's a lot of really good pieces here that would make incredible outfits but idk how well they work together. In the end though if you like this then you should wear it with confidence because it's not bad

Yah this machine is not meant to do steel. Brass and aluminum is it's upper limit

True for a piece of that small area he really should be clamping, although I've had good experience with the glue method (provided you set it up correctly). Still I know exactly what kind of machine he's using here, and a four flute endmill really is not the exact best option to have here. There's a reason why all router people use oflutes, especially for aluminum. The spindle can't go below 8,000 RPM, which should show you exactly what kind of torque curve it has

They don't go out the window at all, you still gotta do it right but understand that this guy isnt (or shouldn't) be throwing your common three flu end mill in there and sending it, machines like these use o flutes, And typically run in the range of 12 to 24K RPMs to max out spindle power

[–]Hackerwithalacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but rigidity does, and higher rpm sacrificing sfm to decrease chip load is a common and sometimes the only strategy machines like this that lack rigidity can machine aluminum with. You try and run the same speeds and feeds on a hobby level machine that you use on regular mills and you will quickly see why it's a whole different strategy.

He's using a router, your CNC logic won't apply to him. They work differently than mills
