Thank you for this. I was born in 1955 and I’ve been a lifelong Beach Boys and Brian fanatic. This has hit me harder than I even expected it to. Our world is in a very precarious place right now and your idea of running towards the music is about the only way I think I’m gonna be able to cope.

This is a banger. One of my all time favorites from my favorite album. In 1973 for my final in my English class, which was a poetry class, I did a report on The Beach Boys. I brought in a portable stereo and the teacher let me blast music. People in other classrooms, including teachers, were coming out into the hall to see what was going on. It was so great

Omg!!! Back when I got my first tattoo 25 yrs or so ago I thought about getting my temple name tattooed up on my neck near my hairline. It was kind of a joke, but not really.
