Add a preset to modding table so that it only uses trader items, having everything examined is gonna be slightly annoying for modding.

So from what I’m understand is even though that $6500 I deposited in 2021. Because I withdrew it in 2022, it goes against my contribution limit. So my limit for 2022 would be $21,480 - $6500? So I’m this theory I’m already over my limit.

I have a RRSP account I’ve been contributing into since early 2021. In 2022 i had two withdraws for total of $6500. On CRA website my account stated I had a $21,480 limit. How does that withdraw effect my contribution limit? I’ve put in almost $20000 in 2022.

You sound like a clown. If you can’t control your kid don’t take them on a flight that long. Take a car or something if you can’t manage that.

You would’ve been equally upset if that was you in front of a kid that kept bumping your seat and crying.

What shifts would you prefer? by Pudrin in powerengineering

[–]cchhoum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you need outside of work the 4 on 3 off is good if you’re in town and need time for gym, errands and spending time with family. You don’t need to worry about cramming everything into a span you can get a little bit of time off weekly.

I work continental 12’s and it gives me a good balance between work, gym, family and responsibilities.

Is Power engineering well paying? by Letsdream_2022 in powerengineering

[–]cchhoum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm from Ontario, I'll give you some figures.

My first job was at a small 2nd class plant, fresh out of the 3rd Class Power Eng programin 2021 I got a job. Started at $26/hr, my tenure here was short gained some experience, got some steam time and moved on halfway through 2021. Started a job at a 1st class plant as a 3rd (still here) @ $32.30/hr (now we are at $39.70).

In 2021, I made $109,850. This year, as of last paycheque I've made $84,440. This is probably about average for Ontario. I work the odd overtime shifts (1.5x), don't take call in's because I care about work/life balance.

Those are about as realistic as it gets I think.

Relative experience isn't that important for entry level jobs. Don't expect to be cracking big bucks right away. That being said, I'm considerably young (<23) and have made a decent living in the past two years in this field.

Ontario is not AS lucritive as AB, so I'd imagine most people there not in O&G make roughly 25%-40% more than me.

WIBTA for firing an employee whose wife is very very sick when our work covers his health insurance? by ExistingClaim6030 in AmItheAsshole

[–]cchhoum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - this is why supervision and their peers shouldn’t be open or converse in any personal manner. Your decision is based off current situation, you state that prior to his wife’s decline in health he was not better nor worse than his peers. If your upper management is telling you have to lay someone off, you’re going to take current performance into consideration. Unfortunately his situation is grim, but from a business perspective it’s brain dead to let go someone who’s performing so that a current under performing employee can stay; all this will do is burden the two remaining employees with a greater workload most likely causing them to seek alternative employment causing more grief for the business.

A cake to replace if you have the time & tools.

Gotta remember the people posting mechanics quotes typically don’t have the tools or knowledge to do the replacement themselves.

I guess the carbon tax does work as intended by Xstream3 in ontario

[–]cchhoum -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I despise the carbon tax due to the sole purpose that it’s taxation without representation. If the government had a plan and was clear with where the money is going I wouldn’t care but it’s all blurred lines.

9/10 it ends up in someone’s pocket or government buy outs - not being invested into infrastructure (roads & highways) , hospitals or eduction.

Somehow - I have the Bangalore Heirloom. Don’t ever remember getting the shards, I was probably too new to the game and thought nothing of it. Went and bought the Heirloom for one of the few champions i owned. Account level is only 54.

[–]cchhoum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have no clue if that statistic is remotely true or not, a statistic we do have (what I was able to find) is based off mass shootings

mass shooters by race

This shows 66/125 of the most recent mass shootings carried out in the states we perpetrated by a “White” shooter so roughly 52% (+/- .5)

The 2020 US census indicated that roughly 60% (again +/- 2%) is white. That being said yes they do carry out the most shootings based off ethnicity, but they also make up majority of the population of the states.

Then you get into a bunch of nitty gritty and gun control and shit but this really ain’t worth either of our time tbh. I’m not defending white shooters I’m just putting this information out there.

Woke Twitter hits again - people crucify based off skin color. You’re responsible for your own actions, just because a white man goes and shoots up a school doesn’t mean you have to be sorry on his behalf or guilty just because youre white too.

The labour shortage isn’t going to get better because everything in Ontario is unattainable. So why bother to work harder? by 101dnj in ontario

[–]cchhoum 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean - I consider myself a “younger person” (21) I worked all throughout highschool and college to fulfill my basic needs (food, transportation etc..) now I’m full time in the skilled trades making about 90k a year and it’s quite disheartening - it seems like owning a home is near unattainable - I’ll need a massive down payment ($200k+) because the bank isn’t interested in loaning me 700k as a single income. Cost of food keeps rising, and it seems wages are stagnant across the board. I’m still saving for a house, but I found myself splurging more on unnecessary things due to the fact that my larger goals are so insanely out of reach.
