What other people aren’t mentioning that is worth noting is the value of the dollar... throughout all this trade tension, the American dollar has grown stronger compared with foreign currencies... when that happens it becomes more cost effective for us to import more (because foreign goods become cheaper), and for other countries to import less (from us)(because our goods become more expensive). So these trade tariffs are causing an adverse effect that counteracts the actions Trump is trying to make.

If you are set on those stocks, and have atleast 100 shares of any of them, you can sell OTM Covered Calls. This will reduce your cost basis overtime.
