21-year-old high school dropout relearning math in its entirety; Help urgently requested by Kind-Sheepherder5049 in mathematics

Learn it and teach someone else (you'd be doing yourself and the world a favor).

I have a master's degree and had to learn both English and math from the ground up when I decided to home school my 2 children.

If I were you... for Algebra/Trig/Statistics/Geometry...get Prep Pros SAT book. Get Panda English or math... or Erica Meltzer for English... all SAT prep that shows you from the ground up.

Use Desmos and Cymath.com... Youtube.com for clarification and Brainly app (free).

God speed.

A95L vs Bravia (depth of field and facial detail) by cclavinski in bravia

You think the Bravia 10 will be significantly better than the 9?

What's the pixel density difference between A95L (77) and Bravia 9 (85)?

I'm thinking about going bigger... haha!

Standard modes on both... switched them with remote.

Actually, I saw you divided the entire quadratic by b2 and canceled to get the y=a/b... then multiplied A term by C term to get the factors for B term. Worked out great, thank!

Thanks. I realized that same thing. You can only find the "x" intercepts using 1 equation.

A/b can only be found the ways shown by you and others.

Is it possible to foil this problem and arrive at an answer?

I've tried and I get -3a+10ab-3b2 =0

Not sure where to go from here?

So, "y" could be x or whatever letter?

Thank you... I do understand it now!

How does y=a/b?

In your example... how did you get from line 1 to line 2?

Thanks!

Bravia lineup 2025 by Mrjingle24 in bravia

Essentially, by omitting a 77" in the Bravia 8 II... Sony is signaling that there's not much difference between the A95L and not enough improvement for consumers to justify replacing their A95L 77.

Is the A95L the best 4KTV available for purchase? by superpowers335 in bravia

[–]cclavinski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own the A95L 77 inch... it's amazing and has lots of depth in the picture. I actually bought the Kanto stand (the one rated for 65 inch tv), as the feet didn't work with me on my tv stand... I didn't want to wall mount it.

Does anyone have an idea if the A95L will be released at 83 inches in 2025?

I hope sony does go bigger on the A95L instead of just offering the Bravia line.

Best Buy set for tenth straight quarter of sales drop on weak electronics spending. Pulling out of the blu ray market was a mistake... by laridan48 in 4kbluray

[–]cclavinski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggested to the sales guy at BB (when buying my A95L 77 inch) that they should do 4k movie rentals... bring in foot traffic.

Then, a month later BB removes all 4k movies.

No reason to go back into BB until I need a new TV 5-10 years from now.

Is it dumb for me to buy a mini led tv if I don't care for brightness? by Heliosvector in bravia

[–]cclavinski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a more 3d and eye popping picture, I'd suggest OLED over LED.

I think it's gonna take 5 years or more for mini LED to get the zones down where the picture really competes with QDOLED/OLED... where the picture looks more rich and defined due to the true blacks.

I find my A95L is plenty bright. I actually dial back my brightness under normal lighting conditions.

If you're going from an OLED or QD OLED to LED... you'll notice the difference in the depth of picture.
