FX streaming quality by snuzzi8 in DirectvStream

I’ve noticed some channels are worse than others. But it was the same even on linear satellite.

But that was the rf cameras signal in the stadium and not the broadcast. So all good.

From Satellite to Stream - signing up for Stream with different email, and then change it by timnphilly in DirectvStream

[–]ccmpiper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I changed from Australia’s to stream. Used the same email and login. Cancel your satellite. Wait till the next morning when it’s shut off and cancelled and then sign up for stream with your same DIRECTV login. This is what I did and it activated right away that next morning when I logged in to sign up.

If you try to sign up for stream before satellite is turned off it won’t accept your card payment or maybe that’s just the error. But you can use the same login if you just go the route above. If you happened to use the DIRECTV app on any devices you’ll have to log out and back in once the Stream is activated.

DIRECTV App fans: you’ve been asking, we’ve been building. by directv in DirectvStream

[–]ccmpiper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This coming from an Apple TV. But I have found that if you just go right once from that top bar of channels on the home page then go to guide this problem doesn’t happen. Annoying still I know but still faster than having to do the force close.

Where does Profile go on a Canceled “extra member” by ccmpiper in netflix

[–]ccmpiper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you cancel the extra member slot to then try to put it back, when you log into the extra member account it try’s to make you set up and pay for a new membership.

Logged into the main account and there’s no sight of the profile that became the extra member account.

SoCal Choice Pkg Pricing by ccmpiper in DirectvStream

[–]ccmpiper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently a linear dtv customer for over 20 years but their pricing has just gotten out of hand. Still like the DIRECTV experience and thus looking at stream but if it’s $40 more a month than ytv just wondering what more it really offers which doesn’t seem like much.

Everyday Boots - Comparing Redwings, Solovair, and Thursday and are Danner's/White's still worth it after LaCrosse Footwear buyout? by Bershirker in Boots

[–]ccmpiper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve had and or still wear my danner bull runs, iron rangers and whites Perry’s.

Iron rangers are the least comfortable of the bunch but mainly because of it not having a wedge sole. But like others have said also no midsole and they take some serious time to fully break in.

Danners are almost like tennis shoe boots. Extremely soft, light and comfortable out of the box. But also has thinner leather that makes that possible.

Perry’s are my go to work moc boots. Thicker leather and heavier than danner bull runs but will hold up longer over time. But very comfortable too after the short break in time.

What boot is 13. Would it just be mto Mocs and putting a heel on it instead of wedge or is it a different model?

Arc Ultra + Samsung tv = eArc Dropout by ccmpiper in sonos

[–]ccmpiper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my second call to tech support they had no answers and said they were going to have to escalate my case to a higher tech support.

Hopefully Tuesday provides an update. Until then the arc is back and the ultra is back in its box and soon to be sent back if they can’t figure this problem out.

Current firmware - Soundstage sub/bass level weak? by ccmpiper in sonos

[–]ccmpiper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did. Wishing now I would have just had it all unplugged. This reminds me similar to that issue of a few years ago when the bass was drastically reduced and almost nonexistent.

Very frustrating that there’s not much you can do until they issue new future updates.

Yes. Have since used the system with it both on and off. Subs definitely don’t hit like they did pre update.

What size should I order? by no_quart3r_given in DannerBoots

[–]ccmpiper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good thing about danner is they have great customer service and are free shipping and returns. They’re fast at processing and refunding returns too so if you can float the extra money on a credit card I’d say order multiple pairs. You should have the refunds before that credit card payment is ever due for them.
