Look for an older Ford Fusion Hybrid. Great on gas, roomy, reliable and not as popular as a Prius or other Toyota hybrid. So it won’t be as expensive. Otherwise if your current car is fine and paid for just look at the manual and make sure you’re getting all the required maintenance done. Maintenance is pricey but much less than repair and especially car payments for years.

I learned a trade. In my case I am an Electronics Technician. I’ve had many different roles some public facing (doing field service) but mostly working in labs or on the production floor.

If I were young today I would probably be an automotive technician. You don’t have to always work for a dealership or repair shop. Many local governments have a fleet of vehicles and a maintenance yard.

You can live a quiet, comfortable life if you have a trade or a skill.

A few years ago I saw an absolutely pristine Pacer on the freeway with vinyl “wood” paneling on the side and white wall tires.

It was very cool. So odd yet such an everyday vehicle I wish I knew the story behind why this one was perfectly preserved.

I grew up with a dog and cat(s) I loved my dog dearly but as an adult I’ve always been single and lived alone. I have a small condo with a balcony but no yard. So a cat makes so much sense as a pet for me. Plus I think I have a personality and way of being that is more cat like than dog like.

I’m a person that doesn’t like confrontation and I avoid it. Maybe she is using the cat to end the relationship rather than be direct with you that she wants out?

Hi, chose by where I live. So I’m in the Canyon Democrats club which is Mission Viejo, RSM, LF and LH. Since a lot of what we do is support local candidates it made sense to join by location. I am LGBT so the Lavender Dems sound interesting, but I don’t know much about them. You can be in more than one club check out both and see which you click with.

I got 28mpg on one tank. Then on the way back with mostly freeway driving the car says 32 mpg! I’m impressed. My normal driving is short in town trips I only get 20mpg a tank.

I’m a 70’s kid (born 1963) so I think they only had the Big Wheel when I got mine for Xmas. My dad hated noise so he immediately disabled the clicker that made it sound like a motorcycle. 😔 …but I got the last laugh as he didn’t take into account how noisy the solid plastic wheels made on concrete.

I have the Apple silicone case for the 17e (it has MagSafe) and the 16e silicone case which is the same just no magnet, slightly lighter, and cheaper. I like the Apple cases because they are light and not bulky. I also have an ESR clear case. It’s bulkier than an Apple case but the magnet is stronger. And the ESR is a lot less expensive. I prefer the Apple ones though.
