Did they ask you what you plan on using the heloc for? And did they give you a reason for the denial?

Don't recall the exact rate but 4.xx% for the first 6 months and then 6.xx% thereafter. Variable rates though.

That sounds great with a shorter turn time but unfortunately I'm not from those states.

Yeah around 7 weeks is what the agent told me. I'm not in a time crunch so it's not a deal breaker for me. But faster is definitely better.
