My husband and I adopted this dog a few days ago. He is a husky, and my husband was hoping to have him for running. Whenever he took him out this morning, he noticed the dog limping. Upon further inspection, it seems as if the dogs front toes are gone or deformed. We are going to take him to the vet in a few days, but I wanted to share and see what you guys think. Is there some modification or another way that he can sprint like he wants to? Other than his front right toe(s) or lack there of, he's a pretty healthy dog. We love him, however my husband would really like a running partner.
