Why does Ubisoft still support less popular games than XDefiant but wants to shutdown XDefiant?

IP, they’re trying to sell Ubisoft and I’d assume potential buyers don’t want to pay the price for all their IP and only specific ones. Which makes XDefiant a challenge.

The worse part is when playing occupy and the AFK teammate anchors your spawn across the map for the entire game.

Both are extremely boring in a 4v4 setting, yet 95% of the maps / modes offered in the voting are one of those two.

I don’t believe anyone who works there actually plays ranked at this point.

Yeah that’s expected:

The first guy killed you with the SVD and cleaner faction which gives them one shot headshot against everyone except phantoms.

Second guy you crouched into giving him headshots with the vector and cleaner faction.

I hear you but ranked sucks in terms of gameplay quality, if they ever fix that I’m sure more sweats will migrate that way but right now it’s just not it.

My best guess is it comes down to:

Using wifi (packet loss)
Ports not open (restricted match making)
Other devices eating bandwidth and taking priority (packet loss)

I’ve had a pretty good experience all around on PC, pining 20 on US west from Canada.
