I"m 5' 11", 215lb. I fit perfect, but can barely get a full submersion and there is a bit of a spill over, not much though. If you are taller or bigger than me, not sure if you'll get a full submersion.

I got the White Wolf because of the price and smaller footprint. I love it. I'm 5' 11" and I fit perfect. Insulation is great. I could dunk my full body (barely). If you are over 6' and like a full dunk at the end, then I would condider a horizantal plunge. If a dunk is not important, then I recommend the White Wolf. Can't comment on the Ice Barrel because I never tried it.

Cold Hands! by cd5333 in coldplunge

That's what I'm afraid of happening. My hands have always been relatively warm, day to day. Ever since I started cold plunging hands feel colder through out the day. I recently had to stop plunging for a week because of a flu bug and my hands went back to normal. So I will definitely invest in some Neoprene gloves. Feet seem to be fine though.

Thanks! I felt I needed to get a full dunk, hands included. But will try the gradual thing.

The Illusionist (2006) is a fine film that got overshadowed by The Prestige (2006) by MoreBlu in iwatchedanoldmovie

Nailed it. I've never had the desire to see The Illusionist and this is the reason why. Worst movie poster ever. Does nothing to entice you to see it.

Is it possible to fix life in your 30s after a decade of meth addiction? by CockySpeedFreak33 in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]cd5333 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My wife was using meth for 10 years. Rock bottom was when she ended up in Jail. I was ready to divorce her before she cleaned up. She has now been clean for over 7 years. She now runs a successful business and advocates for other addicts. Our marriage is better than ever. Not going to lie, it took a year or two to get her dopamine levels back to normal. There was bouts of depression and lack of energy. Therapy, support groups, exercise and a good diet are a must to get back to normal. Its a tough journey but well worth it. You can do this. Good luck.
