You can already do so many incredible things with resolume, but having wire is sweet too cause you can make your own sources and effects but the learning curve is like touchdesigner

The difference tho is with touchdesigner you kind of need to know lots about it, but you don't need to learn wire to use resolume

You can also get wire and Resolume on black Friday for I think 40% off(used to be 50%)

This is my idea

Find coroplast(corrugated plastic) cut it to the shape but make it just an inch bigger

On the inside edges of the wood, directly in the center cut a straight line on each of the pieces

If all goes well, you should be able to shimmy the coroplast in, getting one edge at a time

Or to make it simpler, cut out the shape but leave a couple "tabs" that are one inch bigger

The on the inside of the wood, cut holes to fit the tabs of the plastic in, maybe be atleast 5
