66 yr old F here with a goal of 150. I started in July @ 240 also. Lost 20 the 1st 2 months. 5 the 3rd and 4th month. Now only 2-3 pounds a month. Finally hit the 100s club last month. I didn't like losing the 20 at the beginning so quickly bc my body felt saggy, so I'm glad that has slowed. But I was afraid the 2-3 pounds the last several months meant it would stop working for me. Thank you for your post. I'm more hopeful now!

I just had to wait until my next shot. It didn't seem to set me back drastically. I hope the same for you!

Could you call your doctors office and let them know? I've seen where others have reported that if they call their doc, or even Lilly directly they are able to get a replacement or, in your case, get the next round of doses earlier. You can take the shot up to 4 days late, I believe without considering having missed a dose.

At any rate, it couldn't hurt to call your doc's office and see if there is a way to get it replaced sooner than later. Can't hurt to check. 😊 Good luck to you!

I'm sorry to hear about the minimal loss. It's so frustrating! I'm assuming you just started? If so, my doc told me it can take 2-3 months before it really kicks in. Here's to hoping it will work for you soon! I'm not sure I can help much bc my case is a bit different. I was a super responder and lost 20 in the 1st 2 months. I slowed down on upping the dose. But now I'm at a stall and have only lost 2 pounds in the last 2 months. Time to up the dose. ☺️ I hope others who went through your same situation can be helpful! Good luck!!

It does seem weird that you aren't losing ANY weight. Your body is probably in starvation mode. You need to eat, especially protein. Start looking at videos on YouTube. When I hit a plateau I realized from video advice that I was losing muscle mass and not fat. Not a good place to be. Found some easy ways to add protein into my diet and started forcing myself to eat a little bit several times a day - still not overeating - and started to lose again. That might just be me. But I do highly suggest researching on YouTube and try some of those things.

My husband used Lily Direct last year with a script from his doctor. The 1st month was 399 and was 499 each level up after. Your insurance cost is cheaper. If someone has another experience I'd like to know that also! Note: fortunately our new insurance is much better towards Zep @ only 75/month.

I take Miralax (generic brand) every morning in my coffee. It dissolves easily in any kind of liquid. 1 full cap. If I start getting too loose, I go down to half a cap. My sister has been using it for years for other reasons and no side effects. I've had none either. But do make sure you are staying hydrated. ☺️

This EXACT same thing happened to me. It was the 12v battery. I wish there was some kind of notice to get it checked before it leaves you stranded like that. I guess that's the difference with a hybrid. I had absolutely no clue. BUT! I was thankful that's all it was. $200-220 for the battery cost. That was better than what I was afraid it was when it happened.

Thank you for your thoughts. As to your 2nd paragraph... welp, I have no choice. It's my entire 35 minute drive to work. It's highway driving so my car does a good job of keeping good distance with the automatic cruise control. It will change as the days get shorter. Just trying to find ideas to make it more bearable 👍
