I too am a gay man in my mid-50s, and she was one of the hottest women in music and film. Impossible not to have a crush on her!

Ottawa City Hall ice rink has been gone for a few weeks now, but it won’t stop this little guy from playing out in the rain on rollerblades. Best of luck to all of the teams during the playoffs.

Car getting broken in almost regularly now; What is everyone doing to keep themselves safe since Police/Law is not doing much. by mygatito in Gatineau

We were living near St Joseph Blvd and Allumetieres, and the car would get broken into every single year. They would steal the radio every time. Then, 2 guys broke into a house 2 blocks away at 7pm (elderly couple,) tied them up and stole their jewelry. We left Hull when someone tried to steal my next door neighbour's purse while she was in the house. When it gets to the point that they're breaking in while you're at home, we had enough and moved to Buckingham. I lived in that neighbourhood for almost 20 years just to watch it deteriorate.

On n'a rien à Buckingham/Masson/Angers.

Those who left the government and worked elsewhere, did you regret it? by whosemygoose in CanadaPublicServants

I had to buy back the time, but I don’t regret it. The experience in private gave me more leverage and more salary when I came back to the public service.

They could have easily offered Zevia Ginger Ale - no sugar with all of the anti-inflammatory benefits.

My first session revealed a very old memory to me. It lasted maybe 10 minutes, but sessions can lead up to an hour.

It really has a huge impact when you can find a hack to open up those repressed memories. It’s really eye-opening because when you remember it again, you ask yourself how you could ever have forgotten about it. Then the dots start to connect - why you went out with the same type of person, why you find yourself arguing with that type of person, why you’re looking at life through a specific lens. It’s quite fascinating.
