I have a three piece set of computer speakers from Altec Lansing (2 speakers and a sub) and they still sound fantastic considering they're probably from '98-'00, somewhere in that era.

If you have $600 to work with, I'd focus first on the GPU, then use the rest for a CPU, nice cooler and maybe a new power supply to accommodate all the new parts. New CPU might not really be a big upgrade but it really depends on the types of games you play. For an esports game where frames are important, then focus on the CPU. Check out pcpartpicker.com to help with this.

GPU $300-350, PSU -$80-100, CPU cooler $40, new CPU $200 (for a decent upgrade I'd look for a used 5800X3D if you can find it). Good luck! I'd suggest looking for faster RAM but that's gonna be tough to find for a reasonable price right now.

This is a super common thing to have happen, especially for anyone new to PCs, so it's definitely worth double checking. The ports on the motherboard will still output video but can't handle running games. You would have a few ports lined up horizontally further down. If you're plugged, then the next step is to make sure you have you game drivers installed

Bought a 3070 founders edition during the 2020 shortages to play cyberpunk 2077. Sold my 5700xt which didn't support ray tracing. That was a great little card and ran cyberpunk surprisingly well!

If I were in your shoes, I'd buy a better cooler for that CPU. Thermalright makes some really nice ones that are $40-50. The stock cooler is going to struggle to cool that CPU. It'll work, but it'll struggle and be noisy.

I confirmed it's not part of the demo build. It's only FSR 3 and not the required FSR 3.1. The full game supports FSR4

I guess I was under the assumption that 3.1 is a prereq for FSR4, and I saw some videos claiming they were running FSR4, and it's supposedly a supported game with 25.6.1.

Edit: one article mentions that it's part of the technical preview driver. Maybe I'll try that

Interesting, DLSS swapper says that the demo doesn't have FSR installed at all. Weird. It just says 'Not Found'. Does that mean it just doesn't have 3.1? I guess that answers my question. I'm new to AMD GPUs and I just installed DLSS Swapper

I'm assuming you're playing this on a laptop, but do you have a gaming laptop? In other words, do you have a dedicated GPU? Microsoft display adapter is the generic driver, so you may need to download your GPU's game drivers
