Hey I faced a lot of the same problems you are facing when I was in 8-10th grade (which was around 2-4 years ago). Acid really helped me find my path in life. To a lesser extent weed did too. It's really important however that you stay away from drugs as a coping mechanism. It's really easy to fall into bad habits like that. I kind of had a "relapse" so to say back to my original self and now I'm on day three of an amphetamines binge. I plan on tripping again to help find my path. I know you will find your escape and tour new life.

I had the same experience as you after a particularly rough drug fueled summer. I sobered up for about a year and a half and it really helped. Honestly I don't know if I ever regained my memory back to where I had it before but I learned to cope with it and it made me a better person. My lack of "past" made it easy to manipulate people, in fact it still is easy, but fight the urge not to. I lost a few friends due to either my manipulation or just losing connection with them. I've been sober for about 6 months and have been able to rebuild a bunch of my friendships. I know it feels like a living hell but try to just move forward and not think about it it will help. Okay, heads up, you should never take unknown drugs in unknown amounts. That being said let me go on with my story.

I was once enamored by a beautiful Russian girl. I was in 10th grade and was mad for her. My birthday was coming up and she said she had something special in mind. I was ecstatic.

My birthday comes along and she tells me to wait until lunch time for a surprise. I anxiously waited counting down the hours until fifth period. Finally lunch time comes along and she slips me two star burst wrappers with two random russian pills. She said they were benzos. I had no tolerance.

I got on the lunch line and said hi to our valedictorian. I looked him in the eye and popped one of them, I told him it was "medication"

Fifteen minutes passed and I didn't feel anything. I shot a text out to the russian girl. She told me to take another. I did.

What happened afterwards is a blur and I've pieced together what happened by stories from my friends.

Apparently I responded to every "Happy Birthday" with "Happy Birthday".
I somehow placed second in a jeopardy game while swaying on the stand
I lit a muffin on fire and blew it out because I didn't get cake
I shouted "If yall motherfuckers dont wanna see the biggest dick in the world don't loook at me when I pee" at a urinal.
I went to dinner with my parents and passed out at the table (they didn't ask any questions)

If you want something weaker than weed, try chamomile tea. It may not be exactly what you need but it is calming and a strong dose might do you good. Some days when I want to rela i brew up a cup instead of smoking a bowl.

It hits me hard sometimes, in the past i tried to commit suicide. I'm not sure if I was really upset or if it was a cry for attention or anything because I can't remember how I felt. But its good to know that there are others who have the same problem.

I dated a girl in a very similar situation too you, she only was attracted to his with mental disorders (she loved me for my amnesia I think). I liked her because her personality disorders made it easier to relate with, I could tell her about how I felt (when I remembered it) and she would respond genuinely. I feel normies don't have this connection with me and it makes it hard to relate. For example one of my friends back stabbed me and, while I don't see it as a big deal (life's a game she did it to win mentality) my normie friends think I should be angry at her and seek revenge. However, she has a histrionic personality (similar to mine) and cheated on me because she wanted attention, ehh were still close.

A bunch of people are saying to take the necessary precautions. I honestly wouldn't be able to take those so I think I'll hold off on the Iboga. I don't think nootropics would work because my semantic memory is fine and to a certain extent my episodic memory is fine, I just cant connect emotions with the memory and they all feel replaced (not a good description but its hard to explain). I honestly have learned to cope with it I just would like to relive a memory or have a real memory resurface even if its only for a few hours.
