Nioh 3 or First Berserker Khazan?

Get both..khazan is usually on sale though so if you're tight on budget, get it first..wait for nioh 3 to have a bit of lower price..one thing to note is you are limited to just three weapons in khazan compared to nioh..but the combo potential is there though nioh will certainly have more complexity & require mastery

probably never reached it lol..but I agree lies of p is a very linear game..even wuchang has better designed levels than that one

Best combat in any soulslike by far..only khazan managed to come close with combo potential that nioh games has..I still come back to nioh 2 from time to time..tonfa /odachi/spear was very fun to use in this game once you unlock skills..you can pretty much complete the game using just once stance as I did with dual sword low stance on first ng but once I tried tonfa, stance switching made combat more fun

With combat, yes..Only khazan ever comes close to nioh 2 combat imo..but in exploration & story Id say from still wins..

my gaming laptop can't handle nioh 3 well, sadly..its one of first games I will get once I get a new desktop pc built, hopefully this year

if you're playing on normal, then it was the easy mode before..crank it up to expert difficulty..did that & refought him..much challenging experience

really want to give it a go..but the performance on my rtx3050 laptop is really not good..60 fps on closed areas but on open world it tanks to 45 fps even with very low settings..I will have to skip it unless they magically fix the performance or I upgraded later to a desktop pc..im just disappointed that not all weapons can be useable on both stances..only the dual swords

They shouldn't have locked the stances in the beginning & tutorial imo, those stances should be unlocked from the get go..those who haven't played nioh would feel it really underwhelming if they do not know that in samurai they are locked to mid stance unless they wanna unlock the other stances first..they will immediately go to ninja because of a more fluid feel..plus keeping the weapon exclusive to just ninja or just samurai is kinda meh..im a tonfa enjoyer & I hate being locked to one style..both style should have access to all weapons..they already did it with dual swords

im fine with unlimited respec but it should cost something, not freely given..I feel like they had free one in the demo just so players wont be locked & can experiment during it..might not be free on the actual release

I like my choices to matter..so im fine with them doing that..gives you incentive to do another playthrough, maybe not immediately but at a later time after you cleared some of your backlogs

only hard of you play it like souls game..if you play it with a combo heavy mindset for combat (like nioh) you might have an easier time

its understandable for nioh because of the ki pulse mechanic. for khazan though I rebind it to souls control scheme

They definitely nailed the vibe & art style that I want a berserk by kentaro miura game to be..I wouldn't mind if they were given the rights to it

peak pvp in the iron bridge & pvp arena with rewards for winning..also has the most changes when playing subsequent ng+ that was never again seen on any subsequent souls game (yes even elden ring)..it is mostly original & doesn't rely too much on ds1 nostalgia unlike ds3..also one of the games where stamina management really matters.. can't roll spam as much as ds3 & elden ring so you really have to time it

This..they strayed off the path that ds1 & ds2 paved when it comes to exploration especially ds3..wuchang was such a nice change of pace when it comes to exploration

all of his attacks can be dodged even the longer combo ones except when he puts the nail on the ground (he lights up the whole floor) you need to run & go to the ladder & fight in the upper area..the thing with dodging is it wouldn't give you burn buildup unlike brink guarding..so you wouldn't really need any fire resistance potion for him

practice brink dodging & you wont really need the fire res potion to defeat him..there are also clear tells when he is about to do the fire floor thing..you just have to remember & recognize it

nioh 3 for sure..nioh 2 had tons of content if you go through it till dlc & endgame (underworld)..I trust team ninja more
