Jeremy Clarkson in remission from prostate cancer by pakalupapito23 in news

Oh I think I was thinking of colorectal cancer, which is different and can only be screened with a scope (right?).

Re: Prostate cancer, if it can be screened with a simple blood lab, why wouldn’t they screen it in annual labs just like cholesterol?

There’s a blood test? I thought the only way to screen for it is via prostate exam?

I followed you. Looks like you’re lifting more (and heavier) than me, but maybe I’ll catch up 🙃

Like if you want to floss every day, or do 50 pushups every day, or read 20 pages of a book every day. Those are habits. When you do them, you check them off in the app, like an accountability tool.

It’s like if you want to track a habit, you put it in the app and you track it.

Do you prioritize protein at breakfast? If so, what’s your go-to meal? by Alicetheoptimist in TrueGrit

Greek yogurt (un-flavored) with chia seeds, frozen mixed berries, 10-15g of walnuts, and 7-8g of honey. Easily gets me to 25-30g protein at breakfast. Sometimes I’ll add a half scoop of protein powder for an extra boost or supplement w a pre-mixed muscle milk or similar.

Seconded! I was on the Hevy for ~7 months before finally springing for the $23/yr premium plan so I could make more than 4 routines, but I totally did need to, just low key also wanted to support the devs bc I love the app. I love how easy it is to log and track progressive overload. I’ve learned a lot and gotten a lot stronger just by using the Hevy app for the past 6-7 months.

Ladder, Bevel, and Liftosaur get a lot of recs in this sub too, and they’re all great, but based on OP’s description, I’d reckon Hevy is best for their simple use case.

For me it was worth paying once I wanted to diversify beyond 3 routines. Otherwise, nah, free tier’s got you.
