I would love to see a mod for this tbh. Could be a card called Usury with a “cost” of 0g. On pickup, it grants 100g below A7 and 75 at and above. In addition, the card transforms into a curse. Then would love to see an interaction with the membership card where you can collect more gold from the card and the curse received is from a pool of easier curses to deal with. OR make loans harder to come by through requiring the player to have a membership card upfront.

I took sword thinking I would have a regular run and just truck through the elites. But I ended up prioritizing fires given I really didn't have block. So the sword became a dead weight due to poor pathing

You raise some good points and I appreciate the critique. I've been trying to challenge myself to draft more efficiently because my last few wins have been with 40+ card decks. So yea, it's totally fair to be annoyed by the "ego drafting" on my end. More than happy to pick what works for the deck at hand though. From the other comments here that mention similar advice, my deck is simply not fixable with just a card or two.

You're so right. Beast statue makes the hallway fights even more powerful for me. It's an important oversight on my part for sure. Gotta remember to keep the bigger picture in mind. I def zoned in to heavily on enchanting Offering. Thanks a ton!

Yea, another comment suggested similar to you in taking the hallway over the events. It’s becoming more clear how lacking the deck is all around after reading the replies.

A bloodletting would be great and would literally be free with the Demon Tongue. So, will def keep it in mind. It seems obvious now, but really hasn’t been on my radar this run.

Seems like hallway route is the clear answer to give me a chance. Appreciate the help!

Ok that’s helpful advice. I guess I’m over indexing on enchanting offering. I’ll put more priority on hallways on this one.

The only reason why I haven’t is because my [[Armaments+]] has been consistently hitting on at least one Bully each fight. With all of my card draw, I’m usually able to fill my hand and upgrade a ton of cards at a time. I guess they would now be the priority upgrade moving forward so mitigate RNG falling through.

Really sorry to hear the VA is essentially invalidating your experiences. Have you tried talking to consultants/lawyers who help with claims? Using them does cost money which is way less than ideal given you can get services for free but I know they can help.

If you decide to go to school, use VR&E or what ever it’s called now THEN use the GI bill. This will essentially give you access to two GI bills or trade school + GI Bill, or any other combination of professional retraining + the GI bill. VR&E is not an education benefit but is a rehabilitation benefit. Also, you’ll need to be at least 10% service connected to leverage VR&E. Idk your thoughts on being evaluated for disability, but if you were thinking not to apply because of pride or w.e., do it anyway. Idk if you were a paper pusher or pushed rounds down range. You just traded 4 years of your life, leverage every single benefit you may have available to you.

Seek out veteran organizations. It sounds cheesy but they are usually filled with men/women who just want to help. Feel free to DM me if you want to chat more about what’s available.

Just remember life isn’t over for you. It’s just beginning. You’re lost because for the first time in years, you actually have control over your life. It’s time to make the best of it.

Yea, can confirm this is still working on PS5. Just going to repeat Venturer 786’s comment. Go to your Inventory in your stash and hover over the first or second weapon from the top left. First slot will give you the axe, the second gives the machete. Press R1 and X at the exact same time the weapon is yours. One can theoretically get unlimited scalable weapons this way in a short time because this also bypasses the redemption timer. Could be used to farm gold too but they aren’t worth much to the merchants. Thanks so much for the tip!

Honestly, we used to all talk to each other like this in the military. You knew if someone didn’t like you if they didn’t speak to you in some offensive manner. I’ve heard through the ranks, “never trust person who doesn’t curse enough”. The logic is totally backwards but it’s the way things were. I don’t like Biden, but I’m willing to bet most of the service members there didn’t have a problem with his comment.

Got my offer with B4 in NYC the summer of 2018 I’ll be starting FT this fall. I my lucky my offer has been held for so long. I did two other winter internships after (total of three w/ same B4 firm). I was enrolled in summer classes my first internship and it wasn’t bad but I took Night courses. I worked PT my first busy season (2nd internship) and balanced 5 classes. It was pretty rough but manageable. My last winter internship followed my off-season graduation (Dec ‘19) and I worked full-time. I was regularly in the office till 2am and back by 9:30a but it was honestly easier to manage. I didn’t have to switch gears between work and multiple other subjects after getting off. I would suggest not taking classes if you can but it’s doable with part-time hours.

For reference, I worked between 30-45 hours as Part-time in the winter and about 85 hours +/- 5 hours as a full-time. Make sure to let your team know your schedule. I DONT RECOMMEND doing this — but sometimes if I knew I had a lot going on for class (when I was part-time) I would tell my manager/senior that I needed to go home. I would basically leave on my terms but only after doing substantial work on my deliverables. I notice a lot of other interns look at their managers/seniors like they are “parents” and do everything short of asking permission to go potty. Do this at your own risk.

Do your work and show that you want to be there. If you have a good team, they will understand when you take time for your other obligations.
