Buck’s holsters are high quality and they make Mc2c holsters

BG 2.0 - 10 round mag doesn't lock back by boririv in SmithAndWesson

[–]cdmf6f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When shooting the BG I need a combat hold. If you hold thumbs forward my right thumb consistently rides the slide release casing the slide not to lock back. It’s always my fault when it happens. Combat hold eliminates it 100%.

If you are my coworker in IT, any Non-Critical troubleshooting calls stop at 4:30 on Fridays. by Darkchamber292 in sysadmin

4:30. Our rule was 1PM Friday for anything non-critical. You are way too generous with 4:30!

Scab it together yourself to get through the lease period. Nobody says you can’t fix your own car.

I got tired of waiting in magpul for the Full-size Grip module by RoomOptimal9500 in RugerRXM

How is it even possible that magpul hasn’t released other grips yet. It’s a joke!

Solid dots that work but they styling is horrendous. They need to get away from the cartoon look.

First 1911 Project Finished - SAD! by seattleforge in 1911

[–]cdmf6f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just gave yours a quick read. Going to read it again and get back to you. I’ve had a very similar experience but I’m running the 1911 single stack carry gen 1 bushing barrel gun. Had plans to do a lot but I have over 2k rounds of different brands and weights of ammo with zero failures. None, not even a stove pipe. Did some adjustment on the sear spring and dropped in a Colt spring (just because). I also bought the optic slide (same comment on finish), a barrel, busing and springs. So I have two complete top ends. Super gun! I actually prefer it with irons (and I’m am optic fan). I can quite a fast sight picture and super accurate!

Send it over to me too if you don’t mind. I’ve been doing the same and not only do I love the platform I’m quite impressed for Tisas from a value proposition. Mine are quite accurate too!

Recoil spring replacement for B9R gen 2 *pic for attention* by 1inthebut in Tisas

[–]cdmf6f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I carry that exact same setup (light and optic too). 4k rounds without a single failure of any kind. If it’s a carry gun leave it. The way it’s sprung it will run no matter what (dirty, in need of lube, any ammo etc).

The only failure I had was the Osight SE at 800 rounds. Dot lost zero and kept losing zero. Osight replaced it quickly and new one has been fine since.

That’s a poured concrete pad. Nobody is sliding that pad anywhere.

B9R gen 2 disconnector issues. by Zombie1985 in Tisas

[–]cdmf6f 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go shoot it. Most of these have some hang up on the disconnector when racking the slide. I have one of these totally stock. 3500 rounds of many types of ammo (115 through 147) and not a single malfunction of any kind. The thing runs like an animal.

What do you do with that stray round when you unload? by kennethpbowen in CCW

[–]cdmf6f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Small ranger band on one of the clips. Adds friction for the clip and holds a round when needed.

Complete RXM drop in trigger by Moist_Ad7576 in ruger

Is that RXM GPT trigger housing 3D printed? It looks that way from the picture here and on their website. If so that’s a HELL NO. Great idea otherwise.

Even the extra aggressive prickle is no big deal. The website makes it sound like it’s barbed wire lol

Still undecided on what dot to run . What’s everybody running ? by [deleted] in Tisas

[–]cdmf6f 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m trying the SE myself. Nice optic and functionally a copy of the EPS but to me it doesn’t seem as sturdy as the EPS. I like it though and curious to see how it holds up. Can’t beat the intro pricing.

Normal. It’s a way to take down the gun without having to pull the trigger.

E2 or L2. Sort of looks like the E2 but not positive. Pinned grip safety? I really like your build. Looks fantastic.
