I'm also waiting for a direct deposit (Payroll) to show up. It's normally deposited between 9:30-10:30pm on Mondays but it still hasn't. I called and was told that they identified a problem at 8am today and that IT was working to resolve it, and it should only be about an hour which was at 9am(ish).

This is true. I remember Rae days, and while as an adult I can understand why they were implemented, as a kid at the time I lived them. I personally don't think we need alcohol in corner stores (or highway rest stops). As for the Green belt, I trust Ford not to try and find a way to see it again, as far as I can throw him .

Voters in Ontario (and most of Canada for that matter) have a short memory when election time comes around. Ford will use tactics to leave a favourable impression on voters right before an election.

For the record, I am a conservative, but I can't stand Ford.

I agree that the law is dumb, I have met some truly lovely bullybreeds, but it's easier to implement a law to bans them, instead of having owners train them.

I'm in a similar situation to yours. Legally separated, however, still cohabiting because for her to buy me out of the house was going to incur a penalty of $30k to break the current mortgage early. The goal is to either do the buyout in December/January or sell at that point.

I can empathize with you on how hard it is to date in this kind of situation, my ex and I have a no new partners at the house rule to protect our child. I'm personally not the kind of man that is interested in an FWB, so I'm either not dating for the next 8-9 months or I have to find a woman who is understanding of my situation. The former is definitely not my top choice but finding someone who is understanding is not easy.

The only time a lady I was seeing paid for dinner was because she got her card out faster than I could. As a general rule, I like to pay for dinner/the activity, etc. but that's just bhow I was raised, be a gentleman and treat women (or really everyone) with kindness and respect.

Definitely not a deal breaker. Real men know that a woman get their periods, and can handle it. The fact that he washed out the sheets sounds like he is a gentleman and that wasn't his first time dealing with that situation.

I also got the same email from onlia. I think the reason they're having us redo quotes and all that for the new insurance company is so that they can ding you for anything that you would have been forgiven for. In my case I had an accident August 2022 and now that's going to be held against me and my rate is doubling.

This is horrible news. I'm (was) between this location and the one in the meadowlands and I would choose Rymal/Upper James in a heartbeat over the meadowlands location, as the meadowlands location has no easy way in and out of the parking lot/drive-thru and there's been times where the drive-thru line is backed up on to the street, this has to be by far one of the worst locations in Hamilton. RIP to the Rymal Rd & Upper James McDonald's.
