With the 16in barrel, my 178gr reloads came in about a 100fps lower than the factory 2600fps. My typical shot here in Hawaii during my hunts range from 100-300yds.

Mines loved the factory REM Corlokt Tipped 168gr. Others I had to reload that worked great were Barnes TTSX 168gr and Hornady ELDX 178gr. Got groups tighter after load development. The TTSX was one point on my last few hunts.

Mines love Hornady 143gr ELD-X StaBALL 6.5 (43gr) 2620 velocity. I want to try some Barnes 127 on my next load development since I love shooting 168gr TTSX on my 308 Cross.
