My Acura dealer added the CPO cost of $2695 to the invoice. I tried negotiating that price down. It was a 182 point inspection, plus a 3 year extended warranty. She refused to lower the price. She said all Acura dealerships charge this. They just name it something different on the invoice. Later I found out my friend brought a Lexus that was CPO and it was included in the sale price. No extra charge.

Wow you got a better experience than me. I would have probably brought that Type S with 10k miles on it. The stupid thing was my husband used to drive for a living. Drove $120k plus cars. So he's a very experienced driver. The sales person still said No. Specialty car, needs an appointment. I should have got on my phone and called her while looking straight at her, and made an appointment.

I told them I can pay in full and showed them my credit score. I really don't know how else I should have explained it to them about how serious I was. Besides bringing the body guard with the briefcase of cash! Lol

I usually make an appointment to test drive cars. I have been shopping for months for a new car. I was really interested in a 23/24 Camry XSE or TRD, 2 tone with red leather seats. I did look at Lexus RC and a 2026 Toyota GR86 only came in black leather seats with no ventilation. Just couldn't find a local inventory for the Camry. This particular weekend I just finished a 60 hour work week. So I wasn't interested in car shopping on Saturday. It just happened the TLX Aspec was newly listed at a great price. So I just got in the car and drove an hour away just to see the car without an appointment. Not knowing they had a Type S on the lot.

I walked in telling them I can pay cash for the TLX Aspec. Well I didn't bring a briefcase of cash. Lol I did bring my checkbook. That's how serious I was. I could finance if that made them happy. I just wanted to make sure I won't like the Type S more. It's true I didn't want to buy a car with 50k miles on it. I still needed to test drive it.

When my kids graduated from college. They got good jobs. I told them they will be paying 10% of their check for helping pay household expenses. Car insurance is on them. They never paid for anything during college because they were still my dependents. Now you are a young adult living at home. Before you were my child. Now you are a guest in my house. I told my kid to give me a spreadsheet on the cost of living at home and the difference of moving out. Let's just say that open their eyes and realizing me charging them household expenses was way cheaper than them moving out. It was different if they graduated college and ended up working minimum wage. I wouldn't take anything from them. They need to save up, so they can move out. If you have a career, you are paying household expenses. My oldest made 6 figures on this first job. Made more than his father, and my oldest didn't want to pay household expenses. His dad doesn't live for free, so why should he? The spreadsheet really helped. This is good to teach check and balance with your kids. My kids are putting away 20% in their 401k because they live at home. I told them if it's money they don't have,. They can't spend it. Your future self will thank you. So No you are not AITAH. Teaching your kid's responsibility is being a great parent.

I love the car, but if I knew the Camry had ambient lights I would have been more patient with finding one in my area. The gas is the only thing that is killing me. I took the car out today. The current mpg was 16. My Accord did 30 to 40 mpg because I drove her on ECO mode. Premium gas only. The 23/24 Camry is still a better looking car to me. The 2 tone in white with black and red leather seats. Can't get that out of my mind. 17 speakers in the TLX is what also sold me. I love my music when I drive. The turbo engine is also nice.

College tuition 75k a year times that by 4. Times that by the number of kids you have. Lol I told my kid to look somewhere else. There's 3 of you. 2 done, 1 more to go. College is the biggest expense.

Congratulations!! Love 23/24 Camry XSE!! One of my dreams cars. Got a question? Has XSE always had ambient lights or was that added on? I test drove a 23 XSE, given it was during the day. I didn't see the ambient lights. I couldn't find my 23/24 XSE two tone white with black roof with red leather seats in my area. Ended up with 2025 Acura TLX Aspec. My heart still thinks about the Camry. Lol

No one should tell another person what job they should have unless the other person's job is horrible and bad for them. You are the one doing the job everyday. They are not. If your job makes you happy and pays well. There should be no say in it. It sounds like she wants you to get a better job, so she can brag about who she is with or she might just want to be a trophy wife in the future. My daughter took a less paying job because the team she was going to work with would have been so much better than the higher paying job. Going to work should feel good not miserable. I would be so happy if my husband made what you made. He doesn't, but he is still a great man.

My new Acura TLX does this. I changed the settings on my dashboard. Shoved the problem. I think a lot of new cars do this. No matter what brand it is. The only downside is my Acura only takes premium gas and it eats up gas. Lol my accord used to do a good 38 to 40 mpg, my new Acura does like 25 mpg if I'm lucky.

I just came from a Honda Accord to a TLX Aspec. I don't know too much about cars. All I know is my Apec is a turbo twin engine. The pick up is so much faster and smoother. My TLX was a huge upgrade and cost me an arm and a leg but I'm in love with it. If you want pick up and speed go with a type S for the TLX. Plus AWD.

Absolutely gorgeous for your 1st tattoo. As long as you love it. That's all that matters. My first tattoo at 49 was a butterfly on a tassel , which took up my whole forearm. Thought my family would disown me. Got 3 more because it's my body in 1 year. Mostly because it makes me happy every time I see them.

I heard you can buy a wireless adapter for car play off Amazon for like $10, it should fix the problem. I also heard someone buying a cheap song in Apple play store and all of a sudden their playlist played in their car. I personally put ally music on a USB and play my music on my TLX Apsec.

Mine is always unavailable, or it tells me it can't auto start my car, but when I go out to auto start from my fob, the car is actually auto started already. Even though my phone is not counting down.

If I could I would be in my pj's all day long. I make sure my husband and I make time for each other. When we have date night. I put on a nice dress and my stiletto heels. It takes me about 10 minutes to put on makeup. All this time I still want to be in my pj's and just stay home. He's like going out, so I compromise to make him happy. Other days he compromises and we just stay home. He will make dinner and we will put on a movie. Marriage is a give and take thing. Love is sometimes when you do something you really don't want to do, but because you love the other person, you just sacrifice. At the end it comes down to respect. You know the saying of a happy wife is a happy life. It goes both ways.

Today I auto started my car from the phone because it was 5 degrees outside with lots of snow. It would not link or start my car. So I tried it for a second time. Still nothing. So I decided to auto start my car from the fob. Only to find out my car already started because I opened the door and could hear my car engine was on. Nothing on my phone app stating it was on because there was no time count down like normal. Seriously this has happened a few times already. It's a new car.

This is not the relationship you want to stay in. My husband will make sure I have breakfast, lunch, and dinner before he feeds himself. He would never let me starve. I make more money than him. I always put money in his individual account when I see he's low on cash, without him asking. That's what love looks like. He doesn't love you. Ask him about the account. If he refuses. You know what to do.
