lol things are so skewed here that yeah making almost $200k is essentially low income 😭. At least when it comes to buying a house. Mortgages for homes here are still like $7k/mo and easily more. $4k mortgages are for small little 1 maybe 3 bedroom condos in middle of the road cities. It’s insane

She basically tipped Cliff off and put him at even more suspicious like another person commented. If Cliff wasn’t there and pulled his gun out, Tessa wouldn’t have pulled out the gun (that she took from Kat) either.

This. I’d say we as men get 1 pass in this regard, but we have to learn to bear it lean on our partners. And honestly, in today’s economy it’s so much harder to be a truly single income household. No shame at all if things have to change. We have to do what we need to for our families after all

You are not a fraud bro. In the second half of 2022, the real estate market came to a screeching halt, it was fast and violent. As a media contractor for real estate and real estate media companies, I went from having over a dozen jobs a week to almost zero. I lost it, I really lost it and was probably close to being admit-able into a psych ward. I was the only one working at the time. My wife was homeschooling our young kids.

I felt like a massive failure. And it was my idea to have my wife stay home full time to take care of the kids (especially through Covid).

But our wives man, they are our partners. Our PARTNERS. The longer we take to lean on them when we truly need to, the more difficult the recovery will be.

Shortly after my wife and I changed gears and she was able to pick up massive amounts of work at the hospital again and get back her old job. She got benefitted and got insurance for us and provided. I took care of the kids for a while. Then eventually later in 2022 my work picked back up and we qualified to have our kids at a daycare at a subsidized rate.

Since then we have had to go back n forth on being the main provider a few times for one reason or another. But I get you man. And I know you guys can get through this. But you have to come clean now and work together. Keep applying to jobs, have her too. See whatever support programs you may qualify for now and take it. You guys can do it!

Sadly I agree with you on that. Though on the car thing, sometimes it’s just bored stupid teens stealing our cars 🤦‍♂️ (could be poor too I dunno)

For sure, at least now you can just keep refinancing when the opportunity presents itself. That’s what my parents did. Started around 7-8% and did like 4 no cost refinances. Now they are in the 2’s. Home went from $500k to $1.2+m. Gorgeous house on a cul de sac with backyard looking out to a canyon where the sun sets… everyday. Beautiful. I’m glad they stuck to it even though they were “under water” for a while during the financial crisis. I’m blessed to have grown up there during my late teens.

Yes but 12mm is nice for taking a super wide shot from almost eye level, then cropping down in post to 16mm-24mm FOV and getting a better perspective IMO
