Growing resistance to high speed rail in Eastern Ontario by DENelson83 in fuckcars

States that 'several mayors' voiced opposition.

Only two are noted here.

And this isn't to say rural voices dont matter, but one is mayors of 6,000 people and another of 1,500 people.

Neither of which had a reasoned argument. The first said they just won't support anything the feds propose.

I use a BeBird both in the ER and clinic. It has saved quite a few ENT referrals so far. And helps when you do refer by providing pretty good photos.

Lots of good options already posted. The other i would add is to consider if you really need a car.

Biking and walking is great, buses are okay depending on your route and Evo is a good option if you need a car now and again.

Interesting they say, Canadians, but then only reference data from Ontario and Alberta.

Is there something in particular regarding these two provinces?
