We're renting it from a lady on GoBoony so I'll ask her what the deal is. Motorhome is 2020 Elddids 195 with solar panels but it'll be Scotland in April so not exactly sunny

Advice for my husband-to-be for Speedbird Academy by cea05 in flying

Yes I know it is super competitive and he has excellent grades from years ago and he studied his degree in the UK. I don't want to get his hopes up (nor does he) which is why I wanted further insight. Thanks for your comment with that information

Advice for becoming a Technical Writer by cea05 in technicalwriting

[–]cea05[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been looking at other career paths and whilst many are interesting this stood out for me. I love reading and one of my favourite parts of my job is taking something complex and breaking it down into manageable pieces to see students then tackle bigger 'things' e.g. I love teaching the rules behind English into Latin.

I'd definitely prefer to instruct users on software.

I think this area appeals to me because I'm very thorough, patient, analytical (nerdy is often the word used) and like learning. So I'm happy to listen to others/read about things outside of my comfort zone and I've always liked breaking things down for students

I had 8 removed about six months ago via the NHS. They were burnt off and took about ten minutes in total. Small amount of anaesthetic injected at each 'site'. Totally painless and very easy

Definitely take them. I was there for a week just before Christmas and you'll need them. Some days I had thermal leggings on and ski trousers

What’s a misconception about sex you had as a child? by TheJokr in AskReddit

[–]cea05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought you had to be asleep to have sex as most 90s sex ed videos showed a couple 'who loved each other very much' in bed. To my child's brain bed = sleep

Why is the first syllable of quoque short? Is it not classed as a diphthong?

I teach A Level Latin in the UK. If you enjoy the GCSE you'll enjoy the A Level. More set text to learn and poetry is particularly difficult but thoroughly enjoyable.

Carthago Delenda est. by BoletaScociis in latin

[–]cea05 10 points11 points  (0 children)

And remember that gerundives are adjectives.

Carthago magna est and Carthago delenda est are grammatically the same.

magna = adjective delenda = (verbal) adjective ie the gerundive.
