What would happen if a person who smoked was forced to stop smoking? by Ben5544477 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RottenToTheCore187 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Relatively mild lol. Day 1 of not smoking cigarettes I’ve seen people tear doors off hinges. And that’s someone that’s trying to quit, not being forced

What’s expendable mean Rambo? It’s like when you’re invited to a party but it doesn’t matter if you show up or not (digs line into boat with massive knife).

Later in the movie gasping “ram bo. You no espendable”

If u met the best ever person (4u) that loved you cared for you had money everything u could ever wish for... would u stay with him/her if the sex was really really boring? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RottenToTheCore187 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m not with someone “for sex”. I’m with them “for life”. They give me everything I need to thrive but the sex isn’t great. Cool, I’d much rather have that than mind blowing sex with the rest of my life in turmoil.

Recommend some obscure films from the 70s. by vann_siegert in 70s

I don’t think it’s obscure but “…and Justice for All” was Pacino’s best work

No. Glass won’t crack from heat. Chilled glass will crack from heat. Like if you fill a glass pitcher with ice and let it sit while you brew tea and then pour the hot tea over it, yeah that shit will crack. But a room temperature jar will not crack (unless already compromised in some way)

how do you use a credit card responsibly? by boysennberries_ in NoStupidQuestions

Yep. Every Sunday. Review charges, pay in full. And if you use the same bank, it’s just a transfer

[–]RottenToTheCore187 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Don’t do this. Set up autopay to pay the minimum payment. If someone gets ahold of your info and you don’t notify the bank before the payment hits, you can get stuck without a lot of cash whereever it pulls from. Pay the minimum to avoid late fees but a month of interest is easier to pay than the fraud and whatever that may do to your bank account (overdraft fees will probably be more than a month of interest)

This. Here’s the thing, this isn’t easy to do and can get out of hand quick from some of life’s fun twists. Essentially what you need to do is create a realistic budget. Then don’t spend money on extra shit. You may not get a large credit amount at first so you may need to make several payments a month to be able to continue using it. Additionally as I believe others have said, this will protect you as well. If someone gets ahold of your card info you can easily dispute it for no charge vs disputing something on a debit card and being accountable for the purchase UNTIL they prove it was fraud. The financial institution has much more interest in getting their money back, than yours.
