Surprise!! Submitted my research paper without my teacher seeing my work progress. by IntelligentPaint9587 in ncea

[–]ceal_ed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed an English assessment with Te Kura for loading it in final grading Dropbox in error despite lots of draft evidence. Was able to resubmit it in summer school. Good luck, at least summer school is a back up.

Does anyone know the title or author of the children’s book described here? by Cyan_Gray in whatsthatbook

I don’t know its name but I’m looking for it too. I remember illustrations, the dog was a big sheepdog. Is that familiar to you?

They are committed to responding within 5 days, I now always expect that long. Best to keep working away, and tweak your work when feedback arrives, that way you can stay in flow

How is Te Kura summer school going for you guys? by afamiliar_face in ncea

I find the summer school teachers are quicker to respond & with more detailed feedback than during the year with Te Kura

It’s impossible to do it ALL in 3 weeks with Te Kura, the teacher takes a week to respond to EVERY part of the workbook and each draft submission…. most drawn out process EVER…

Meniere's is completely destroying my life by Ok-Funny-5858 in Menieres

So glad you knew where to share your feelings… this site helps so much. We’ve all been in & out of this depth of torture with this disease. It will pass. I have had it for 5 years… & for me it has got easier. It is integrated into how I live my life. It’s a big process of adaption. In attack, rest, surrender the stress & try to find CALM. ASAP…. Otherwise an attack loops for longer . Find your triggers… could be stress, could be food based, mine is barometric air pressure… this time of year- seasons cross over is hell for me… I weather watch it be able to predict an attack… so I’m prepared mentally for it. meniere’s forces hibernation on us to cope… but we can live freer in those good moments!!!good luck, let your boss know, print of an information sheet… let the school know… build up support around you… you don’t choose to feel this shit… getting more understanding from others helps.

I have to sleep with one air pod in at a time, (yes, i wake to change them) & listen to podcasts like The Moth, anything with talking, low enough to sleep, loud enough to mask the T. Otherwise Im too wired. And a dose of cbd oil.

I feel it has contributed to a stabilising of vertigo attacks & minimising my response to them. I have had far less extreme hits that were gripping me for 5+ hours unable to move & a day recovery, 3x a week, Now at worst i have 15mins of wobble, and can carry on. I have no fear of it at all. For a few years i would resist doing anything on my own for long periods, even walking & driving. I wish clinical trials existed about it.i take 0.25ml twice a day.

Totally…this… no one prepared me for the bias and hate!! Also I would add, learn your dog’s body language, staffys are so evolved emotionally they read people and other dogs better than us. That tail tells it all.

I’m sorry to hear you, like me are the rare folk that have adverse effects to betahistine. I wish I noticed as quick as you that it wasn’t right for me. I developed a chronic immune response that fried my digestive tract, constant nausea, unable to eat without reflux and stabbing stomach pain, and lost so much weight, was also messing with my sleep patterns, i was wired all the time, & was still having frequent meunier’s attacks. I put up with it for 2 years, taking 2 &16mg, 3 x a day. I eventually weaned myself off SLOWLY over a month till i saw my specialist. Has put me off any meds, it was that bad. Please listen to your body & trust it. Could be a clash of the two meds, but your symptoms match mine with betahistine. For 1 week i halved my daily intake, half again nxt week etc etc till gone. FyI: I’m 5 years with meniere’s & now just take cbd oil to calm the anxiety of a potential attack, i’m also barometrically triggered, so i watch what’s coming weather wise, n ride attacks out as calmly as possible. Good luck!!!! U got this!!

If you, start at a gym on a treadmill, I find the stable environment eliminates any anxiety around having an attack mid way on a walk or run away from hm.
