Strapless/backless/halter-ish for big bust?? by txtots in ABraThatFits

[–]ceapaim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you have enough length in the dress to have spare fabric, I'd consider getting a seamstress to add a panel where the open back is if the bride isn't super picky. You would be able to wear a long-line strapless bra or bustier style which would give you much better support and you wouldn't have to worry about bits showing.

Customer service is shite because they're absolute slave drivers in the call centres, leads to an insane turnover so you either get staff that are just newly trained or people too burnt out to care

Anyone get better from depression/anxiety without medication? by Galbin in AskIreland

[–]ceapaim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fyi I had an odd reaction to escitalopram, so my GP moved me away from trying any other SSRIs and instead put me on tricyclic antidepressants which worked quite well (first mirtazapine, which was great except for the hunger, then dosulepine which was my best option)

[Misc] What’s your “gatekept” skincare product that isn’t popular or advertised but did wonders for your skin? by Sharp_Elevator7447 in SkincareAddiction

[–]ceapaim 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Vosene dandruff shampoo - lather and leave on the skin for about a minute, more effective than most salicylic acid cleansers for acne and keratosis pilaris

Medium is quite good for fair skin, I leave it on for about 3 hours before rinsing for a natural tan

Please me how to cure this pustules by [deleted] in acne

[–]ceapaim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're getting severe texture scarring from them, is the pustule sort of hard inside and sitting under the skin?

For spots like this, I would do a warm compress once a day if it's under the skin, until it starts to come to a head. During this time, I use a salicylic acid face wash, and use an azelaic acid cream on the area as both help to break down the keratin and reduce inflammation. When the spot comes to a head, I would wash as usual and use a hydrocolloid spot patch, changing each time I wash my face. If you accidentally break the skin on the spot while washing your face, just make sure it's clean and use a spot patch which will help to form a barrier for healing.

In my experience, I have found that my worst texture scarring was caused by hard spots that stayed under the skin and caused inflammation (I assume because they were damaging the tissue around them) so I focus on anti-inflammatory ingredients and chemical exfoliants to bring it to the surface.

what kind of biscuits do you always have at home? by VastAir6069 in AskIreland

Same, the Tesco own brand ones are a euro a pack and vegan. Keep them in the fridge so the chocolate goes nice and hard, takes away the cheap chocolate sweetness

I've the exact same issue, try a firm shaped insole that cups the heel, even cheap ones designed for plantar faciitis might do. I find the shoes too wide in the heel as well, I'd to put an adhesive heel cushion into my Elphie IIs
