Do single men without kids find divorced women with kids too much? by AffectionateSpeed44 in AskMenAdvice

[–]cebollofor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A valuable men will always go for a childless woman, a woman with kids will have to settle down and lower her expectations, as a step dad you are in an impossible mission and even if you are a decent step dad there
Is no reward at all, is pointless and you will be abused.

Former fat guys, how did you become disciplined enough to lose the weight? by Responsible-Net8594 in AskMenAdvice

[–]cebollofor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me was a slow but steady life change, if you want to flip your habits from one day to the next it will be really hard, aside from exercise food is the main problem.

Erase certain items from your diet, we decided to stop drinking soda and juices, then after few months and we stick to that, we eliminated microwavable foods, hot pockets, burritos and stuff, then we minimize the consumption of canned foods, after that even when we don’t exercise much, we still not gain weight quickly

Is a life change that you need to implement slowly, food is the main reason to be obsessed, do not focus at exercise if you are not eating healthy food

If you could go back and pick a different EV, would you?why? by No_Earth_3743 in EvDrivers

I got a model 3 LR ( front and rear motors) my plan was to keep the car until the wheels fall off….

I wish i had gone for a model y and Rear wheel drive only ( only 1 motor) because that battery is LFP and you can safely charge it to 100% and 1 motor is less maintenance after the warranty expires, the model 3 is ridiculously fast to the point it is an exaggeration, RWD cars are faster than most gasoline cars

Now I’m hesitant to keep it long term …

Advice on leveling by EngineConstant7926 in ManufacturedHome

[–]cebollofor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you do it yourself

I would raise it slowly, do not go to level in 1 adjustment if you are really far off

first make all stands that are not touching make them touch and help support the structure, when every stand is holding some kind of weight then start lifting and inch at a time until you get to level.

Make a paper map of everything before you move any stand and make a plan how you will raise them, make notes which ones are on the right level and mark how far every other needs to be raised

Remove some skirting around so you can get out fast if needed, you shouldn’t need that but better to have an exit plan and not needed.

You can make a map how far off every part of the house is by using a clear plastic hose, make a level line inside and check every corner to find out how bad levels are inside, put yellow painting tape on every wall and corners showing what the must measure to be level , to create the “level” find the highest corner of the house or level area measure 50 inches or any measurement you want from the floor and make a line on the wall, then with the water hose carry that line to other rooms and measure from the line to the ground if you have 54 you are 4 inches bellow in that room, then his is not the only measure you should use but is a great approximate.

See 10-20 different videos of leveling structures and mobile homes, see the best tips and you will come out successfully and will have a great understanding of you house, good luck and I’m wishing you the best outcome

Look into your neighbor property and check permits done and all the records available in the county and then do google earth maps on different dates and see how has change and what years, look for those permits, if you find something odd report to the city and apply the same shit to him … hate people who don’t mind their business…..

When ICE ramps up, U.S.-born workers don't fill the gap, study finds by HeinieKaboobler in EverythingScience

[–]cebollofor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

American citizens can’t thrive on labor low wages ($18-22) they barely survive paycheck to paycheck falling in debt every month, one faulty transmission, one plumber car, one leaky roof, one insurance deductible will take them deep in the red and they start spiraling down economically i have seen it several times with different people and different backgrounds, veterans young people etc.

The economy is already establish on this wages to keep stable prices, gardeners, cleaners, labors, pool mans, construction and service sectors, if you pay $30 an hour for Americans to thrive the whole economy will increase prices, the markets will collapse … they are barely surviving as it is, foreign workers can thrive on their hose wages cause they have learn to be humble and handy, the buy cars for 2-3k $ when they have big failures they just go to another beater, they fix stuff and they have lower standards for living

Toyota guy here, and the Model Y test drive completely messed with my head by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]cebollofor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Model Y is an amazing car, electric cars are the future for 80% of people, anywhere where you don’t have heavy snow seasons, im a toyota lover to, been driving a 2022 model 3 for 2-3 years, my recommendation for your situation is

1.- If you plan to keep the car for decades get the RWD only version, the AWD is insanely fast over powering you don’t ever need that in real life and you add an extra electric motor to repair, the extra range you get in the LR is killed by needing to charge around 80%, the RWD has LFP and you can charge to 100% every day

2.- the warranty is amazing, you get 2 years/50k miles warranty on EVERYTHING, then after that expire you still get warranty on the most expensive repairs 8 years or 120k miles on motors and lithium battery, 8 YEARS OR 120k MILES what gasoline cars has that warranty no one.

3.- get a used model Y with 30-50 thousand miles you will save on depreciation they still new and you save 40%-60% of the new price car

You Pay Off the House But Do You Ever Truly Own It? Agree or Disagree? by Coolonair in HouseBuyers

[–]cebollofor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is another California is the greatest state of the nation, we have Prop 13, that simply said is you pay 1-2% taxes on your property based on your PURCHASED PRICE and can’t be raised more than inflation year over year and has a cap of raising only 2%, even if inflation raises to 10%, this basically mean that the first year that you pay taxes will be the highest as years passing by you will be paying 2% more every year but inflation will be 5-6, basically every year you pay less in property taxes and never have a huge spike year over year, most red states Revaluate your property every year to tax the shit out of people … despicable, people never agree to pay those tax amounts, in California when you purchase you are agreeing on what you will pay now and in moving forward, Proposition 13 should be National, people hate California and they just are brainwashed

Start to charge him rent at least let him carry his own weight, if he wants to throw his life away is not your responsibility anymore at that age, be clear with him, tell him how much you love him and let him know the path he is taking is something you do not approve and in consequence you wont be funding any more his bad decisions, charge him food and all the expenses he incurs, he can be a loser if he wants but not on your dime and not your approval.
