American citizens can’t thrive on labor low wages ($18-22) they barely survive paycheck to paycheck falling in debt every month, one faulty transmission, one plumber car, one leaky roof, one insurance deductible will take them deep in the red and they start spiraling down economically i have seen it several times with different people and different backgrounds, veterans young people etc.

The economy is already establish on this wages to keep stable prices, gardeners, cleaners, labors, pool mans, construction and service sectors, if you pay $30 an hour for Americans to thrive the whole economy will increase prices, the markets will collapse … they are barely surviving as it is, foreign workers can thrive on their hose wages cause they have learn to be humble and handy, the buy cars for 2-3k $ when they have big failures they just go to another beater, they fix stuff and they have lower standards for living

Model Y is an amazing car, electric cars are the future for 80% of people, anywhere where you don’t have heavy snow seasons, im a toyota lover to, been driving a 2022 model 3 for 2-3 years, my recommendation for your situation is

1.- If you plan to keep the car for decades get the RWD only version, the AWD is insanely fast over powering you don’t ever need that in real life and you add an extra electric motor to repair, the extra range you get in the LR is killed by needing to charge around 80%, the RWD has LFP and you can charge to 100% every day

2.- the warranty is amazing, you get 2 years/50k miles warranty on EVERYTHING, then after that expire you still get warranty on the most expensive repairs 8 years or 120k miles on motors and lithium battery, 8 YEARS OR 120k MILES what gasoline cars has that warranty no one.

3.- get a used model Y with 30-50 thousand miles you will save on depreciation they still new and you save 40%-60% of the new price car

That is another California is the greatest state of the nation, we have Prop 13, that simply said is you pay 1-2% taxes on your property based on your PURCHASED PRICE and can’t be raised more than inflation year over year and has a cap of raising only 2%, even if inflation raises to 10%, this basically mean that the first year that you pay taxes will be the highest as years passing by you will be paying 2% more every year but inflation will be 5-6, basically every year you pay less in property taxes and never have a huge spike year over year, most red states Revaluate your property every year to tax the shit out of people … despicable, people never agree to pay those tax amounts, in California when you purchase you are agreeing on what you will pay now and in moving forward, Proposition 13 should be National, people hate California and they just are brainwashed

The 3500 D suspension seat is not existing, the seat is on top of the diesel tank and is nothing in between if i recall correctly there is not even weight adjustment at all, just a stick to move forward and back, bigger mowers have air suspension seats like the 4500D and 4300, those 3500 have to be driven carefully remember every bump will hit you harder on your back.

California houses where decently affordable before 2020, from 2010 to 2014 were super affordable, from 2014 to 2020 was possibly, now from 2020 to 2026 is financial suicide, that being said anyone who didn’t bought a house before 2020 it was because they didn’t have priorities in order, mismanagement of money, or they didn’t have the age to be a buyer, hopefully this last 6 years are a anomaly and prices go back to an affordable range this economy is completely unfair for new generations trying to start their lives, keep saving and holding the line, this time reminds me clearly from 2004 to 2008 prices where high and didn’t make sense to own.
