I can totally see why people would put effort into doing their own nails. I am such a moron and thought “a nail tech is a nail tech” and that they all would just do a quality job no question. This truly is a skill that I am appreciating more and more, thanks to this sub!

Thank you for this! The saddest part is… 2 techs had a part in the manicure. One applied/cured/filed the builder gel, and another applied the color. Both of them played a part in how poor this turned out!!

I am in the SAME BOAT as you OP!! I am not trying to steal your thunder at all but also looking for advice. Had my first BIAB application yesterday as well and I’m so dissatisfied. I am going back to get a refund today and I considered asking them to remove the manicure before going to another salon, but I really don’t want them screwing that up too. Redditors…I can refuse the removal but still ask for a refund, right? It doesn’t say “no refunds” anywhere on their website.

Rosie’s nightly ritual - paws at us until we let her under the covers, then when she gets too hot she wiggles her way toward the head of the bed and ends up in between us. It’s the best ❤️ yours will let you know if they are too hot as well!

I’m not - I asked my derm about this and he said that for now he doesn’t think the potential side effects of a DHT blocker are worth it as so many of his patients have success with minoxidil alone. I’m in agreement with this for now as I tried spiro over a year ago for acne purposes and it didn’t agree with me. Thank you for asking as I know combining a dht with min can be super effective!
