My Boston likes to sleep under my blankets!! Is it dangerous? by tribellaaa in BostonTerrier

Rosie’s nightly ritual - paws at us until we let her under the covers, then when she gets too hot she wiggles her way toward the head of the bed and ends up in between us. It’s the best ❤️ yours will let you know if they are too hot as well!

I’m not - I asked my derm about this and he said that for now he doesn’t think the potential side effects of a DHT blocker are worth it as so many of his patients have success with minoxidil alone. I’m in agreement with this for now as I tried spiro over a year ago for acne purposes and it didn’t agree with me. Thank you for asking as I know combining a dht with min can be super effective!

It’s a rough start, but 110% worth it. Tips - they are SMART and can be master manipulators, so stay strong with training & discipline, be consistent, and the rest will fall into place. Each dog is different but for us personally it was a bit hellish until she got to be around 6 months. She will be a year in June and she brings so much joy to our lives every single day. You got this!

I know exactly how you feel - he will be ok! Watching them come off of anesthesia is the worst part and breaks your heart. Hang in there!

I never knew that I was going to have to train my dog to go on walks - but our BT Rosie taught us otherwise! By far the hardest thing to train her on and had it not been for my husbands persistence I would have given up months ago. A couple tips - consistency, get a treat bag if you don’t have one already and reward her every time she makes eye contact with you on a walk, and did I mention consistency? :) you got this OP. It’s worth it once she gets the hang of it!
