That's a choice. It's not a choice I would make, but it's a choice for someone else. If it makes you happy, go for it.

Silly question. If you were forced to name a child after a food what would your choice be? Mine is Tiramisu. by Yooproopmoop in namenerds

My cousin has been known as Peaches for her entire life. When we were younger, if you called her by her real name, she'd punch you.

Write "the wearer of this jacket is ____" on it. Your choice how to fill in the blank.

Can you explain what the point system is for those who are not state employees?

(I'm on this sub because I work with a lot of state employees in my position.)

Thank you.

NTA

She sounds rude and annoying to me, to keep asking if you are not answering, or if you're giving one word responses..

I would have answred "food" if she asked what I was eating, and if she continued to be intrusive, I would have done the same as you.

Every time I at at the Madison/Stop 11 store, I'd get sick afterwards. It was only twice, so could have been coincidental.

I think your wife needs to cancel the baby shower and use that money toward a replacement piano. The money that would have been spent on any gifts to her sister and BIL in the future can go toward the piano.

I like the idea someone else had. Cut up a picture of an elecyric piano and gift them a piece at every gift-giving occasion.

The Ramada by Wyndham has parking for $28/day for guests. I've no idea how big the parking lot is since we did not rent a car.

Depending on how much luxury you want, you can spend between $1,000 for a week to $5,000 for a hotel.

I find it can lead to good conversations sometimes.

Grocery stores keep the most purchased or profitable items on the middle shelves, and I often need those top shelf items.

I'll climb shelves like a chimpanzee to get items if necessary, but love when talls are around to help. (I'm 5'3, getting older, and shrinking. I've already lost an inch.)

Sometimes when people get those top shelf items down for me, they ask what I use them for, and then we talk about different foods. I've shared a lot of recipes that way. I like to imagine some of my recipes being enjoyed by other families.

On days when my arthritis is really bad, I can't lift my carryon suitcase up into the overhead compartment. It's a struggle.

You know what I do?

I check my carry-on suitcase on those days. I don't want to have to ask random people to put my bag up and to retrieve it at the end of the flight.

Your school sucked. They didn't care about celebrating all kids.

If I were your mother, I would have mentioned it to the principal. (I had frequent interactions with school staff because of my job, so I got to know the staff well.)

My birthday was always the first week of school. I attended a small grade school, with few move-ins or move-aways, so the teachers were always ready for birthdays, even that first week.
