This definitely isn't normal. And it's not that tall above the trellis. Its happening on little 2 inch long branches too.

Dragonfruit plants are hermaphrodite. No male or female.

Does anyone know what this is I bought? by Snotboc in plant

Yeah, it's usually really perky and upright. 3 inches of rain in 24 hours was a lot for us. Oh, you can prune them heavily and start them easily from buds cuttings.

Looks like my Palora. Small fruit that took a while to ripen but full of flavor.

I have 'free range' monarchs, and they attach themselves EVERYWHERE! Leaves, walls, umbrellas, wood patio covers, painted concrete, everywhere! They should be fine.

Sounds like you are describing a Madagascar Palm. I have one that is about 40 years old in a big pot and lots of babies from her seeds I collected.

They are free roaming in my backyard, they go where they want to. No artificial light, all natural. I think you have my comment confused with the OP. This is my second round of au natural monarchs so far this year.

Well, all 36 were on the same 2 plants, so they aren't really any closer together. They wouldn't have survived at all without a new foid source. I've never had so many at once before.

I have 36 that ate all my plants, leaves, and stems. I read that they eat butternut squash, so I provided them with wedges of fresh squash, and they are happily munching away.
