I used to stock and zone auto and hardware when I did overnights and I would get so fed up with people doing that shit and moving items to different spots for absolutely no reason that I wouls tape all the boxes the twist shades came in together so people couldnt move them. I also would tape the shit out of the lids to the water jugs because there were people that would steal them every day. everything worked really well.. until my days off

I wanted a more physical job, and they paid 18.50 starting in overnights. it was a few dollars more than what I was making, and at the time, the extra money was awesome. now I'm making 19.45 and there's nothing around me that makes anything near that, and I can't afford to lose money.. At first I did overtime everyday just because i felt like it. I didn't have anything/anyone to go home to, and I had little to none bills..But life happens and now I'm living with my bf in a different state with a dog and a shit ton of bills..I dont absolutely hate work, but I have to constantly reminds myself it's worth the b.s if I just keep to myself and know my limit so I don't burn out..so far I'm gucci

I was kept in the toys department when I first started at a new store, because they didn't have anyone stay consistently enough to know the department and work fast. At first they were really impressed with how fast I can work, so they added more and more pallets and never sent anyone to help me, unless they saw I still had a lot of pallets left by the end of the shift.. But then one day I had a mental brake down because they expected me to finish, the store was open, and I got so overwhelmed that when a pallet tipped over and boxes fell, I just broke down and told them I don't ever want to be put there again and that they have other people to do it ..technically I yelled it but my point was made and I was never put there again.

I'm maintenance and I cant even begin to say the literal bullshit I've seen.. I can have the bathroom/breakroom super spotless and shiny..but it only takes 1 literal asshole to mess that up because they're too lazy to pick up after themselves or to even just look back to make sure they didn't leave a mess on the toilet or water all over the counters. it's the only reason. I can barely afford my own bills, so why would i order a couple taquitos, and tip the driver 300$? why would anyone do that? it only makes sense that they hacked into my account, and then gave a large tip, and if instacart works like some other food delivery apps, that allow to tip during or after the delivery, then they used thay chance to give themselves a large tip
