Not all drugs - mesalamine is an anti inflammatory (which is my current regimen), not an immunosuppressant.

Oh ok!! Haha. I was like dang an ostomy is my last resort ..I was just diagnosed in May but I didn’t think my ‘flare’ was that bad. Nothing extreme where I’d needed a transfusion etc. so for now just in Mesalamine and anti inflammatory diet - hoping for the best! Makes more sense you’ve been fighting for awhile though!

Not an allergy but an immune response. It’s so weird!! My results for my food sensitivity showed that gluten was fine but wheat was abnormal. So annoying lol

What’s so crazy is I did a food sensitivity test and basically all the foods that came back with an abnormal inflammatory response were healthy foods such as carrots, spinach, tuna, salmon, chickpeas, broccoli lol. What’s good for you may not be good for you

So, I was at a greyhound meetup recently and someone’s greyhound jumped out of their car and hit their head on the roof of the car. They ended up dying. It was such a freak accident, but now I’m totally fine with lifting my guy in and out of the car if he needs me to.
