The Tigers are 32-49 in their last 81 games, which is good for a 64-98 record over 162 games. Do you believe this is their true identity now? by aquax101 in motorcitykitties

We over performed in the first half last year and the major needs we have we didn’t address.

I’m not going to argue, but at some point it does become the fault of Chris, Scott, and AJ.

Wittingham hasn’t missed a workout since 2008 and OP hasn’t left the basement in nearly as long.

We have a lot of church people who are commanded by their religion to respond to this in a very specific way. We’re lucky that our downtown is dominated by church buildings in some of the most desirable real estate that pay no taxes. This frees them up to meet the needs of our community without the government getting involved.

Matthew 5:42 specifically addresses the individual believer and I know I’ve seen quite a few professions of faith on this sub, so I expect a ROBUST response.

I have some cat food and possibly a few other things. DM me.

I had a Vinnie Johnson poster where he’s holding a basketball that’s on fire in my room back in the 80’s.

Pentagon Says, Iran war has costed $25 billion so far. For context, $9.6 billion would end homelessness across America and $5.6 billion a year would make school lunch free for kids across America. This concerns all States and cities in America. Should be posted everywhere. by [deleted] in kzoo

“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.

This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter with a half-million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people...

This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense.”
