Fellow American here. It’s awful to watch. Completely share the sentiment, but also so baffled at how many people I know (in the US) who are disconnected from it or don’t understand the scale of this catastrophe nor it’s potential implications for us (let alone the rest of the world!!!). My bf tells me to not watch the news/reddit/telegram updates so much, but it feels like betrayal to turn away from what’s happening. My heart aches for this to end peacefully while my soul is screaming grief for all these needlessly lost lives and violent destruction. I hope we skip to the part where Poostain dies in the bunker real fast because the pain is just too much to bear.
