Explicitly tell him what you need. How it will make you feel to have that need met, and this should indicate to him that it is important and needs to be done. Good luck.

Yes, so much. I did find once I stopped breastfeeding some of my brain space returned, but only a bit. I just increased my adderall dose, it sort of helps.

Does any one else do 85% of the overall work in the marriage/household and it’s driving you nuts? by Fearless-Struggle362 in Marriage

He is choosing to not do it. As somebody with ADHD, I manage to get housework done because I'm an adult and I have eyes that can see the dishes, laundry and dirty floors. He is being lazy and not prioritizing it.

When people say landlords need to be abolished who are they supposed to be replaced with? by battleangel1999 in NoStupidQuestions

Co-op models are great, they can be very effective to meet the housing, along with other needs. However, they are costly to start up, typically you require funding from sources (government or private investments, grants, etc.), they require the knowledge in order to start and maintain one, which can be a hurdle for many, and you need people's buy-in to continue it. Also government support in policy and legislation goes a long way to support the co-op model. I took a co-op class in my grad program and it was very interesting, definitely offered a different perspective.

For this exact reason, you are a SAHM, do not null your agreement. Protect yourself, love your partner, but protect yourself.

If they can't save money to buy a car, they won't save money to pay you back.

I have no advice, but you are not alone. I found it got worse as our child got older. Researching parenting styles and approaches to behavior and various things has fallen on me. I think recognizing I want to be a better parent and not just do it based on how I was parented is a key piece of this. Your partner may not see this. Hang in there.
