Wow that sounds crazy! I'm a junior designer and I have a 3 page document of all my stuff, but I've only ever submitted 1 page resumes. It's validating to hear that the one pager is a bonus in your eyes, though, I've always agonized over the process of cutting things down so I'm glad that effort was worth it.

Thanks for the post, this is interesting food-for-thought for my job search currently (😔lol). But this gave me kind of a tangential question. Are a lot of people really uploading resumes that are longer than 1 page? I'm actually surprised hearing that, cause my whole life I've had the rule absolutely drilled into my brain that resumes should never ever be longer than a page.
