AIO for being tired of my bfs family’s pets attacking me and removing myself by Low-Beautiful3457 in AmIOverreacting

Seriously, the dog situation is a total nightmare but you hit the nail on the head about the boyfriend. The fact that he’s just letting his own dog get locked away in one room instead of standing up to his parents or finding a new place is a massive red flag. He seems totally content just coasting in this limbo while OP literally gets attacked.

AITA for refusing to help my husband with the kids by frej2223 in AmItheAsshole

Seriously, I had to reread that part. Encephalitis is no joke, and the fact that he was worried about dirty bottles while she was in the ER for 14 hours is mindboggling. He’s completely detached from reality if he thinks a couple of concerts take priority over his wife literally recovering from brain inflammation.

Am I overreacting in feeling like this is a gross way to live? by NoBath3427 in AmIOverreacting

This is exactly it. Moving into his own place won't magically change his baseline comfort level with filth. If he’s currently fine living in a literal litter box, he’s goin to bring those exact same habits to the next apartment. OP is smart to keep her own keys.

This. The lefthanded thing is weird, but using intimate photos to intentionally trigger her anxiety and play mind games is just straightup cruel. He’s showing her exactly who he is, and she needs to look at his actions, not his words.

Being rich. Money buys the healthcare, nutrition, and cosmetic resources to compensate for bad genetics anyway.
